MOUNTING DEVICE FOR A COMPOSITE BATTERY
The invention relates to a mounting device (1) for a composite battery (7) consisting of a plurality of battery cells (71), comprising a printed circuit board (2) with electrical lines and switch elements for connecting the battery cells in parallel or series connection, a safety device with safety instruments (51) for the overcurrent protection of each battery cell, a housing with two housing parts (61, 62), having contact regions (63) for fixing the battery cells, wherein the contact regions of at least one housing part are designed as enclosures (64) for embracing a battery cell, the circuit board comprises recesses (23) for receiving and contacting (31, 32) in each case one battery cell in a respective enclosure, and wherein each recess embraces an enclosure with a battery cell in its maximum cross-sectional area. The mounting device makes it possible to provide a composite battery with exchangeable battery cells of different design, power and operating voltage in series or parallel connection with overcurrent protection at the cell level and a battery pack (8) with correspondingly configured composite batteries in a safe, simple and cost-effective manner by a user.

MODULAR BATTERY SYSTEM FOR POWER EQUIPMENT
A battery pack is provided that includes battery cell magazines and a battery management system to control charging and discharging of the associated battery pack. The battery cell magazines may include a magazine housing and associated battery cells. The magazine housing may define a plurality of battery cell recesses to receive the battery cells. The battery management system may be configured to balance the state of charge of a battery stack of battery packs. Methods for balancing a state of charge of battery packs of a battery stack are also provided, as are systems for lifting a battery stack.
MODULAR BATTERY SYSTEM FOR POWER EQUIPMENT
A battery pack is provided that includes battery cell magazines and a battery management system to control charging and discharging of the associated battery pack. The battery cell magazines may include a magazine housing and associated battery cells. The magazine housing may define a plurality of battery cell recesses to receive the battery cells. The battery management system may be configured to balance the state of charge of a battery stack of battery packs. Methods for balancing a state of charge of battery packs of a battery stack are also provided, as are systems for lifting a battery stack.
Battery module assembly
A battery module assembly includes a plurality of cells, a plurality of cartridges including a first cartridge (a cartridge A) and a second cartridge (a cartridge B) alternately stacked with a corresponding cell therebetween, and a caulking pipe inserted into a through hole provided in a corner of each of the stacked plurality of cartridges, for assembling the plurality of cartridges. A bus bar among main elements configuring a voltage sensing assembly is disposed in a frame configuring a short side among four frames configuring the first cartridge, and a sensing wire among the main elements configuring the voltage sensing assembly is disposed in two frames configuring a short side and one frame configuring a long side among four frames configuring the second cartridge.
Energy storage system
The energy storage system includes battery cells, a subrack, a backplane, and a battery management system BMS. The subrack reserves a plurality of battery cell slots, the battery cells are connected to the backplane through the battery cell slots. The backplane is installed in the subrack, a first power terminal is reserved at a position corresponding to the battery cell slot on the backplane, and a plug-in power terminal is formed by a second power terminal of the battery cell together with the first power terminal. A power circuit, a sampling circuit, and an equalizer circuit are integrated into the backplane, and the power circuit, the sampling circuit, and the equalizer circuit are connected after the second power terminal is plugged and docked with the first power terminal. The BMS is connected to the backplane for managing the energy storage system.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR BATTERIES
An example of a battery apparatus (10) is provided including: a housing (12) with a connection arrangement (24); a plurality of interoperable battery cartridges (36) removably fittable to the housing (12) to connect with the connection arrangement (24) to form a stack; at least one battery interface arrangement (17) adapted to be removably fitted to the housing (12) to connect with the connection arrangement (24) so as to be in communication with a selection of the plurality of interoperable battery cartridges (26) via the connection arrangement (24). Examples of battery cartridges (36), a system (5) including one or more battery apparatuses (10), and associated example methods are also disclosed.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR BATTERIES
An example of a battery apparatus (10) is provided including: a housing (12) with a connection arrangement (24); a plurality of interoperable battery cartridges (36) removably fittable to the housing (12) to connect with the connection arrangement (24) to form a stack; at least one battery interface arrangement (17) adapted to be removably fitted to the housing (12) to connect with the connection arrangement (24) so as to be in communication with a selection of the plurality of interoperable battery cartridges (26) via the connection arrangement (24). Examples of battery cartridges (36), a system (5) including one or more battery apparatuses (10), and associated example methods are also disclosed.
METHOD FOR REPLACING RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
A method is for replacing a rechargeable battery that is considered as an unsatisfactory rechargeable battery that needs replacing in an assembled battery in which rechargeable batteries are stacked and restrained in a row and electrically connected in series or in parallel. The method includes removing of finding at least one of the rechargeable batteries to be an unsatisfactory rechargeable battery in the assembled battery and removing the unsatisfactory rechargeable battery, and installing a satisfactory rechargeable battery, which has little deterioration, on at least one end of the row of the rechargeable batteries, in a row direction, in the assembled battery from which the unsatisfactory rechargeable battery has been removed.
BATTERY PACK AND CONTROL METHOD FOR BATTERY PACK
A battery pack includes: battery cells; and a measurement circuit unit to measure temperature information of the battery cells, the measurement circuit unit including: a first measurement circuit unit including a first type temperature measurement element; and a second measurement circuit unit including a second type temperature measurement element having a different characteristic of a resistance change according to a temperature change from that of the first type temperature measurement element. The first measurement circuit unit and the second measurement circuit unit are on a common base substrate, or on different individual base substrates from each other.
