Managing off-grid energy generation and storage
Techniques for managing an off-grid power system include executing update requests for an off-grid power system that is communicably coupled to an energy management system by determining an amount of stored energy in energy storage devices in response to at least one update request, determining an amount of electrical power generatable by renewable energy power systems in response to another update request, determining a predicted reliability of at least a portion of the energy storage devices and the renewable energy power systems in response to another update request, and determining an amount of electrical power for a remote facility that is electrically coupled to the off-grid power system in response to another update request. The techniques further include determining a control command for the off-grid power system based on the responses to the update requests; and providing the control command to the off-grid power system to adjust an operation of at least one of the energy storage devices or the renewable energy power systems.

FUEL CELL MODULE
A fuel cell module includes: a cell stack in which fuel cells are stacked; and a stack temperature controller through which the oxidant gas before being supplied to the cell stack flows. The fuel cell module includes a warm-up burner that produces combustion gas for warming the cell stack. The warm-up burner is arranged outside a housing space in which the cell stack is housed. The stack temperature controller is arranged to face the cell stack with a predetermined gap therebetween so as to exchange heat with the cell stack. The stack temperature controller is located adjacent to a combustion gas passage through which the combustion gas generated by the warm-up burner flows so as to allow heat exchange between the oxidant gas flowing through the stack temperature controller and the combustion gas generated by the warm-up burner.
Fuel cell vehicle
A fuel cell vehicle includes a travel prohibition control unit. In the case where a lid sensor detects an open state of a lid, the travel prohibition control unit performs travel prohibition control to prohibit travel of the fuel cell vehicle. In the case where the number of shift control operations has reached a release number within release time, the travel prohibition control unit releases the travel prohibition control, and in the case where the number of shift control operations has not reached the release number within the release time, the travel prohibition control unit continues the travel prohibition control. The release number is two or more.
System and method of controlling air compressor motor for fuel cell vehicle and system and method of controlling operation of fuel cell vehicle using same
A method of controlling an air compressor motor for a fuel cell vehicle is provide. The method includes calculating a counter electromotive force constant of the air compressor motor based on a voltage and a current of the air compressor motor for the fuel cell vehicle supplying air to a fuel cell stack and a rotation speed of the air compressor motor. The method additionally includes determining whether a permanent magnet of the air compressor motor is demagnetized based on a result of comparison between the calculated counter electromotive force constant value and a pre-set counter electromotive force constant design value.
