The insulating member includes an annular protruding part protruding inward from an inner peripheral surface of the through hole. The protruding part is in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the battery terminal in such a state that the protruding part is elastically deformed.

The cover is not limited to a pre-fuse assembly and may be used with other vehicle electrical system components, such as a power distribution device (e.g., a power distribution box, an electrical connection box, a junction box assembly, etc.), a wire harness protector, etc.

The electrical terminal preform having a base plate, a plurality of contact arms radially extending from the base plate, a wire attachment feature radially extending from the base plate, and a carrier strip. The base plate defines crimp wings. The method also includes the step of bending each of the plurality of contact arms to form a socket configured to receive a mating electrical terminal.
