An electrical connector includes an insulation housing, a plurality of rows of terminals, and a plurality of corresponding fixing parts. The plurality of rows of terminals are sequentially and fixedly arranged in parallel on the insulation housing. The plurality of fixing parts are assembled to the insulation housing for structurally constraining the corresponding rows of terminals. An electrical connector manufacturing method includes fixing a plurality of first terminals on an insulation housing in a row, assembling a first fixing part to the insulation housing to structurally constrain the row of first terminals, fixing a plurality of second terminals on the insulation housing in a row, assembling a second fixing part to the insulation housing to structurally constrain the row of second terminals, and so on, so as to obtain one like the above electrical connector. The electrical connector can provide data transmission in compliance with PCIe 4.0 standard.

A connector for providing an electrical connection between at least one terminating mating terminal to a substrate. The connector includes a housing having at least one terminal receiving cavity. A receptacle terminal is positioned in the at least one terminal receiving cavity. The receptacle terminal has a latching projection which cooperates with the at least one mating terminal to retain the at least one mating terminal in electrical engagement with the receptacle terminal when the at least one mating terminal is fully inserted in the at least one terminal receiving cavity. A release mechanism is provided in the housing in line with the latching projection of the receptacle terminal, the release mechanism is configured to cooperate with the receptacle terminal to depress the latching projection when the at least one mating terminal is to be removed from the at least one terminal receiving cavity.

A display apparatus including: a display panel; a chassis assembly supporting the display panel; a printed circuit board accommodated in the chassis assembly, and configured to drive and control the display panel; and a connector installed on the printed circuit board, and including a seating portion and a connector terminal positioned on one side of the seating portion, wherein the connector is connected to the cable by seating a surface of a body of a cable on the seating portion in a vertical direction while the surface of the body of the cable faces the seating portion and contact-coupling a cable terminal formed at one end of the body of the cable with the connector terminal.

CONNECTOR

A housing having terminals held thereon is positioned within a shell in island form. The shell is formed of a single metal plate, and includes a peripheral wall surrounding the housing, bottom plates, a pair of first retaining pieces, and two pairs of second retaining pieces. The first retaining pieces respectively include raised portions to conform to side surfaces of the housing, extension portions positioned on upper surfaces of the housing, and press-fitting portions. The press-fitting portions are press-fit into holes formed in the upper surfaces. Each pair of the second retaining pieces are positioned on the opposite sides of the first retaining piece, and fitted in step portions which are at the opposite ends, in the width direction, of the side surfaces of the housing. The second retaining pieces protrude from the upper surfaces and, in the width direction, protrude from the housing.

High density optical transceiver assembly

A transceiver assembly for mounting on a mother board, said transceiver assembly comprising: (a) a frame defining a first plane configured for mounting parallel to said motherboard, said frame defining a plurality of slots perpendicular to said first plane; and (b) one or more opto-electric cards, each of said one or more opto-electric cards disposed in one of said plurality of slots and comprising at least, (i) a substrate having a first edge parallel to said first plane when said opto-electric card is mounted in said slot, (ii) an electrical interface along said first edge, (iii) and an interposer electrically connected to said electrical interface and comprising at least one optical component operatively connected to said electrical interface, and (iv) at least one optical fiber extending freely from said interposer.

High-speed connector

A high-speed connector includes an insulating housing, and a first terminal assembly mounted in the insulating housing. The first terminal assembly includes a plurality of first terminals including a plurality of first grounding terminals, a first base body, and a first shielding plate disposed under the first base body. The plurality of the first terminals are fastened to the first base body. The first shielding plate has a first base plate, a first metal layer and a plurality of first ribs. Several portions of a top surface of the first base plate extend upward to form the plurality of the first ribs. The first metal layer is a pattern with a plurality of pores. Several of the first grounding terminals contact with the first metal layer which is attached to top surfaces of the plurality of the first ribs to form a grounding structure.

Stacked dual connector system

An electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of electrical conductors held within the housing. The housing includes a mating shroud protruding forward from a front wall of the housing and defining a port that receives a mating circuit card therein. Each of the electrical conductors includes a mating contact disposed within the mating shroud and a mounting contact that projects beyond a bottom end of the housing to electrically connect to a circuit board. The mounting contacts are located within a termination area of the electrical connector.

Integrated circuit package socket housing to enhance package cooling

An integrated circuit (IC) socket comprising a housing with a land side, an opposing die side, and sidewalls around a perimeter of the housing. The housing comprises a first dielectric. A plurality of socket pins extends from the land side of the housing through socket pin holes in the housing over the die side of the housing. A second dielectric is within the interstitial regions between the socket pins and sidewalls of the socket pin holes. A frame structure extends around at least a portion of the perimeter of the housing, and a mesh structure is embedded within the first dielectric. The mesh structure has plurality of mesh filaments extending between the plurality of socket pin holes and coupled to the frame structure.

A shunt device is used to be mated with an adapter socket of a connector configured on a circuit board to shunt electric current of the connector. The shunt device includes an insulating housing and a first electric terminal. The insulating housing has a bottom surface. The first electric terminal is fixed on the insulating housing. The first electric terminal has a first contact portion and a first leg that extends out of the insulating housing from the first contact portion, so as to provide a first cable connection surface for being connected to at least one wire cable. The first contact portion is exposed from the bottom surface and has a contact surface that is parallel to the bottom surface, so as to abut against a shunt contact surface of the adapter socket.
