ROBUST ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A card edge connector with latches that improve the connector's reliability. The connector comprises a housing having a slot elongated in a longitudinal direction and a pair of towers disposed on opposite ends of the housing and extending in a vertical direction. A pair of latches are disposed in the towers, respectively. Each latch has a groove disposed above the respective tower for receiving a flange of a card inserted in the slot. Each latch has a clip disposed in its groove for engaging the flange of the card. The clips are configured to restrain movement of the card in the longitudinal direction, the vertical direction, and a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal and vertical directions when the latches are in locked positions. Such a configuration enables more reliable connections and improves the connector's shock resistance while being compatible with cards having a variety of thicknesses.
Terminal block for connecting a circuit board and wires with a slidable fastener on the body
A terminal block includes an insulative seat, a flexible arm latch and a slider. The insulative seat has a slot and a sliding trough. A longitudinal direction of the sliding trough is parallel to a depth direction of the slot. The flexible arm latch is disposed on the insulative seat. A longitudinal direction of the flexible arm latch is parallel to the depth direction of the slot. The flexible arm latch has a first interfering portion and a hook. The slider is disposed in the sliding trough and longitudinally movable along the sliding trough. The slider has a second interfering portion. Either the first interfering portion or the second interfering portion is a slope. The first and second interfering portions abut against each other to push the slope to deflect the flexible arm latch to make the hook retract when the slider is traveling toward the slot.
Electrical connector and connector assembly
An electrical connector includes a body and multiple conductive terminals. The body has an insertion slot. Each conductive terminal has a contact portion entering the insertion slot and a conductive portion passing downward beyond a bottom surface of the body. Each side of the insertion slot has first terminal groups and second terminal groups. The conductive portions of each first terminal group are located away from the insertion slot relative to the conductive portions of each second terminal group. The conductive portions are provided in four rows in a lateral direction. The conductive terminals include signal terminals and ground terminals. The circuit board has an adjusting hole and four rows of connecting points corresponding to the conductive portions. Each row of the connecting points include multiple signal connecting points and multiple ground connecting points. The adjusting hole is located between two signal connecting points in two adjacent rows.
Electrical connector with a flat-type conductor
The housing has a locking portion, which is positioned within the range between the circuits positioned at the outermost ends in the strip width direction of the flat-type conductor and is lockable to the counterpart electrical connector, and a holding space, which holds the retainer along with the front end section of the flat-type conductor, the front end section of the flat-type conductor has formed therein a pass-through portion extending through the flat-type conductor in the thickness direction of said flat-type conductor at a location at least partially overlapping with the locking portion in the strip width direction, and the retainer has a protrusion that protrudes in the thickness direction of the flat-type conductor and enters the pass-through portion of the flat-type conductor, thereby making it possible to limit the rearward movement of the flat-type conductor with the help of said protrusion.
Apparatus and method for mounting a circuit board in a connector socket
A fixture for helping to secure a circuit board to a receiving connector socket is attached to the connector socket. The fixture is then attached to the circuit board with a flowable adhesive. The flowable adhesive could be a hot-melt adhesive. Adhesive layers on the fixture can be used to attach the fixture to side and top surfaces of the connector socket.
CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A circuit board assembly and an electronic device. The circuit board assembly includes: a circuit board to which a first board-to-board connector and a second board-to-board connector are mounted; a first bracket, where the first bracket is mounted on the circuit board, the first bracket is located on a side of the first board-to-board connector away from the circuit board; a second bracket, where the second bracket is mounted on the circuit board, and the second bracket is located on a side of the second board-to-board connector away from the circuit board, and the second bracket is disposed neighboring to the first bracket and the second bracket is provided with a tongue insert; and a fixing member, where the fixing member is connected to the circuit board and the fixing member is provided with a slot.
TERMINAL BLOCK FOR CONNECTING CIRCUIT BOARD AND WIRES WITH SLIDABLE FASTENER
COUPLING DEVICE, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A coupling device for coupling a plurality of cable units to a component carrier includes a base plate that is flat in at least one plane. A connecting device is disposed on a first side of the base plate and is configured to mechanically couple the base plate to the component carrier. An opening extends through the base plate for each cable end of a plurality of cable ends of the cable units. The opening in each case is disposed on the base plate at a position corresponding to the respective cable unit.
