ELECTRICAL SOCKET
A female electrical socket for receiving an electrical pin and for connection to a PCB is provided. The socket provides a body having a first end and a second end, each having an opening, wherein either opening is configured to receive a male electrical pin to form a connection with the female socket, and wherein the body has a central longitudinal axis. The socket further provides a plurality of contact fingers on the body, wherein a first end of each of the fingers is attached to the body and a second end of each of the fingers is radially directed inwards relative to the first end towards the central longitudinal axis to provide a retention force to engage with the electrical pin. At least one wing extends outwardly from the first end of the body. A corresponding method of manufacturing the socket is also provided.
CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure includes a circuit board assembly that may include a circuit board that may include an aperture. The circuit board assembly may include a reverse header. The reverse header may include a base and a plurality of pins connected to the base. A portion of each of the plurality of pins may be disposed at least partially in the aperture. The circuit board may be configured an insulated metal substrate circuit board.
Connecting structure having a regulating portion to control deformation of an elastic portion of a terminal in an electrical connector
An electrical connector includes a housing formed of a fixed housing and a movable housing movable relative to the fixed housing. The connector further includes a terminal. The terminal includes a connecting portion to be connected to the electrical circuit board and a contact portion to be contacted with the mating connecting member. The terminal further includes a fixed side held portion, a movable side held portion, and an elastic portion. The connecting structure further includes a regulating portion for regulating the elastic portion from elastically deforming within a specific elastic deformation range. The elastic portion is configured to have a specific elastic deformation range. When the electrical connector is connected to the mating connecting member, the spring force is smaller than a holding force between the contact portion of the terminal and the mating connecting member in a direction that the electrical connector is pulled out.
Electrical Connection Terminal and Electrical Connection Assembly
An electrical connection terminal includes a crimping part having a base with a front end and a rear end and a pair of opposite sides, a plurality of conductive teeth connected to the opposite sides of the base, and a plurality of fixing teeth connected to the opposite sides at the front end of the base. The electrical connection terminal has a main body connected to the rear end of the base. The conductive teeth pierce an insulator of a flexible electrical connection piece and are crimpable onto a conductor of the flexible electrical connection piece to be electrically connected to the flexible electrical connection piece. The fixing teeth pierce the insulator of the flexible electrical connection piece and are crimpable onto the insulator of the flexible electrical connection piece to fix the front end of the base to the flexible electrical connection piece.
Waterproof electrical receptacle connector
A waterproof electrical receptacle connector includes a plastic shell, a metallic shell, an insulated housing, and a buckling member. The plastic shell includes a shell body, a through hole defined in the shell body, and an assembling hole defined on the shell body. The metallic shell is received in the through hole and defines a receiving cavity. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity and includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from the base portion. The buckling member is positioned with the assembling hole and includes a buckling body and a hook extending from the bottom of the buckling body and protruded out of the assembling hole. Accordingly, the hook is protruded out of the assembling hole and engaged with a buckling hole of a circuit board, so that the front of waterproof electrical receptacle connector can be firmly positioned with the circuit board.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing and a pair of terminal fittings accommodated in the housing. The terminal fittings respectively include board connection portions each protruding from a lower surface (one surface) of a terminal fixing portion of the housing and each positioned in a connection hole of the circuit board. The housing includes a plate-shaped insulating wall disposed between the board connection portions, which are adjacent to each other, and protruding downward from the lower surface (one surface) of the terminal fixing portion of the housing. A protruding end of the insulating wall is farther from the lower surfaceN (one surface) of the terminal fixing portion of the housing than protruding ends of the board connection portions are. The insulating wall is disposed in an insertion hole of the circuit board in a positioned state.
