The terminal includes a connecting portion to be connected to the electrical circuit board and a contact portion to be contacted with the mating connecting member. The terminal further includes a fixed side held portion, a movable side held portion, and an elastic portion. The connecting structure further includes a regulating portion for regulating the elastic portion from elastically deforming within a specific elastic deformation range. The elastic portion is configured to have a specific elastic deformation range. When the electrical connector is connected to the mating connecting member, the spring force is smaller than a holding force between the contact portion of the terminal and the mating connecting member in a direction that the electrical connector is pulled out.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENT COUPLING/DECOUPLING SENSOR ARRANGEMENT
An I/O system including an I/O base, and at least one I/O module mechanically and electrically coupled with the I/O base. The I/O module includes a locking actuator assembly having a locking actuator movable from a first unlocked position to a second locked position, the locking actuator configured to interlock with the I/O base to secure the I/O module to the base when in the second position, and a sensor for sensing a position of the locking actuator and generating a signal indicative of the position of the locking actuator.
Printed circuit board plug device having a pre-adjusting device which serves as a locking device
A direct plug device for directly plugging into a printed circuit board, the direct plug device comprising a plug element that comprises an accommodating housing and at least one pluggable, in particular spring-like, contact element accommodated at it; and a plug element receptacle which is designed to at least partially accommodate the plug element, which comprises a locking device and which can be moved relative to the plug element between a contact element-remote state and a contact element-proximal state; wherein the plug element comprises at least one pre-adjusting structure which is to be arranged at the side of the printed circuit board and which, when the plug element is placed onto the printed circuit board, can be connected to at least one corresponding pre-adjusting structure of the printed circuit board in such a way that, in the connected state, the at least one contact element is aligned with at least one correspondingly designed contact element opening of the printed circuit board; and wherein the plug element receptacle can be displaced relative to the plug element, which is placed on the circuit board in a pre-adjusted manner, from the contact element-remote state to the contact element-proximal state in such a way that thereby the locking device and the pre-adjusting structure of the plug element are commonly locked to the pre-adjusting structure of the printed circuit board.
Insertable wireless communication device for a power tool
A wireless communication device configured to be removably received in a first compartment of a first power tool device of a first type or in a second compartment of a second power tool device of a second type different than the first type of the first power tool device. An electronic processor of the wireless communication device may be configured to determine whether the wireless communication device is coupled to the first power tool device of the first type or the second power tool device of the second type. The electronic processor may be further configured to set an operational characteristic of the wireless communication device based on the determination of whether the wireless communication device is coupled to the first power tool device or the second power tool device.
Midboard cable terminology assembly
A cable termination assembly configured for mounting to an interior portion of a printed circuit board. The cable termination assembly has a frame shaped to receive a paddle card to which a plurality of cables are terminated. A lid, when closed, may force the paddle card into contact with an interposer, which in turn may be pressed into a printed circuit board on which the cable termination assembly is mounted. Electrical signals may pass between the cables and traces in the printed circuit board via the paddle card and interposer. The termination assembly may be mounted near a processor or other high speed component on the printed circuit board, enabling high speed signals to be coupled with low loss between a periphery of the printed circuit board, or even a location off the printed circuit board, and the high speed component.
Interconnect system having retention features
Interconnect systems having anti-backout latches and securement members are disclosed.
Electrical connector for flat conductors
A movable member is provided at a flat conductor insertion location on one side in the connector thickness direction; at least either restricting portions or restricted protrusions have oblique surfaces rearwardly sloped toward the other side in the connector thickness direction; upon complete insertion of the flat conductor, engaging portions are positioned to be engageable with engaged portions in the direction of disengagement of the flat conductor at locations rearward of said engaged portions of the flat conductor; and, when a rearward disengagement force acts on the flat conductor upon complete insertion of said flat conductor, the engaged portions of the flat conductor engage the engaging portions and the restricted protrusions abut the restricting portions, as a result of which at least a reaction force directed toward the other side in the connector thickness direction is received from the restricting portions.
INTERFACE FOR A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY ADAPTER MODULE
Systems for interfacing a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) adapter module to a receiver housing are provided. The receiver housing may have a first interface mounted on the receiver housing via a first mount and the PCBA adapter module may have a second interface mounted on the adapter module via a second mount. One of the interfaces has a protruding feature that aligns the interfaces when matingly engaged, while the other interface has a centering hole opposite the protruding feature. The first centering hole is enlarged with respect to an axis of an insertion-angle plane such that the protruding feature substantially clears the centering hole without causing either interface to exceed a limit of free-play between that interface and its respective mount.
Insertable wireless communication device for a power tool
A power tool may include a compartment in its housing and a first printed circuit board (PCB) located in the housing and electrically coupled to a first connector. An insertable wireless communication device may include a second electronic processor and an antenna that are each mounted to a second PCB. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to be received in the compartment and may include a second connector configured to electrically and physically couple to the first connector. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to wirelessly communicate with an external device. When the insertable wireless communication device is inserted into the compartment, a first conductive layer of the first PCB may be configured to be electrically coupled to the antenna via the first connector and the second connector such that the first conductive layer of the first PCB serves as a ground plane of the antenna.
