Connectors with audible feedback and contact protection
Connector receptacles that can provide audible feedback to inform a user that a card has been properly inserted, and can include structures to protect contacts in a connector receptacle from damage due to an improper card insertion. An example can provide a connector receptacle having a click module to provide audible feedback indicating that a card has been fully inserted. Another example can provide a connector receptacle having movable contacts that can remain out of an insertion path until the card is at least partially inserted.
CONNECTOR AND FLAT CABLE
In a housing of a connector, there is formed an opening to be fitted with a protruding portion formed on a flat cable in a state in which a terminal section of the flat cable is electrically connected with contactors of a contact portion in an opening space.

Data signal transmission connector
Provided is a data signal transmission connector configured to electrically connect a first electronic component and a second electronic component includes a first base frame and a second base frame having a structure which are mirror-symmetrical, the first base frame and the second base frame being disposed to face each other and to be spaced apart from each other.

Electric connector for flat conductor
A flat conductor electric connector mounted on a circuit board and electrically connected to a front end side portion of a band-shaped flat conductor extending in a front-back direction, comprising: multiple terminals in such a shape that metal plate members are bent in a plate thickness direction thereof; and a housing holding, by insert molding, the multiple terminals arrayed in a terminal array direction which is a band width direction, wherein each of the multiple terminals has, at least at one end portion in the front-back direction, a holding target portion held on the housing and an extending portion extending from the housing and formed with a mounting portion to be mounted on the circuit board by soldering, and the holding target portions adjacent to each other and the extending portions adjacent to each other are arrayed and positioned in the terminal array direction. The mounting portion includes an opening to receive a pin of a molding device.

CONNECTOR FOR A FLAT FLEXIBLE CABLE
A connector for a flat flexible cable includes a housing and a spring clip disposed in the housing. The housing has a main body and a cover. The cover is movable with respect to the main body between an open position and a closed position. The spring clip is resiliently deflectable by the cover. The spring clip is in a first state with the cover in the open position in which the spring clip abuts a conductor exposed through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable with a first contact force. The spring clip is in a second state with the cover in the closed position in which the spring clip abuts the conductor with a second contact force greater than the first contact force.
Midboard cable terminology assembly
A cable termination assembly configured for mounting to an interior portion of a printed circuit board. The cable termination assembly has a frame shaped to receive a paddle card to which a plurality of cables are terminated. A lid, when closed, may force the paddle card into contact with an interposer, which in turn may be pressed into a printed circuit board on which the cable termination assembly is mounted. Electrical signals may pass between the cables and traces in the printed circuit board via the paddle card and interposer. The termination assembly may be mounted near a processor or other high speed component on the printed circuit board, enabling high speed signals to be coupled with low loss between a periphery of the printed circuit board, or even a location off the printed circuit board, and the high speed component.
CONNECTORS USING SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY
Connector devices or connectors for use in interconnection to a circuit board may be configured in an open or closed configuration. The connectors devices may utilize a shape memory alloy (SMA) actuator to move clamping portions with respect to each other into one or both of the open or closed positions.
