An electric vehicle charging system includes a charging connector configured to receive a charging cable provided with electrical charging wires. The charging cable and/or the charging connector provide a flow path for guiding a liquid coolant, cooling the charging cable and/or the charging connector, and a thermal management unit for cooling the liquid coolant, the thermal management unit being fluidly connected to the flow path. The liquid coolant is an ionizable coolant, wherein a deionizing unit is provided and fluidly connected to the flow path for deionizing the liquid coolant to decrease its conductivity.
Contact Device For High-Current Transfer
A connector that includes a contact, a connection piece, and a cooling unit. The connection piece is received by the contact, and the cooling unit is connected to the connection piece. The cooling unit includes a heat sink spaced from the contact, a first heat exchanger section between the contact and the connection piece, a second heat exchanger section positioned in the heat sink and in communication with the first heat exchanger section, and a heat transfer medium that circulates between the first heat exchanger section and the second heat exchanger section.
CONTACT ASSEMBLY FOR PLUG CONNECTIONS, I.E., CHARGING PLUGS, COMPRISING A COOLING DEVICE
The invention relates to a contact assembly for plug connections, i.e., charging plugs, for transmitting electric power, having at least one device for producing an electrically conductive connection and at least one device for cooling purposes, i.e., for dissipating heat produced by the transmission of electric power using the conductive connection, wherein the electrically conductive device has at least one connection region for coupling to at least one cooling area border and at least one contact region, and the coupling is carried out directly in an integrative manner so that the cooling effect is supported as a result of the at least partly direct physical contact between the electrically conductive device and the coolant. The invention additionally relates to plug connections, i.e., charging plugs, comprising at least one such contact assembly.
Electrical plug connector and electric plug-in connection
An electrical plug connector includes a connector housing receiving an electrical terminal. The connector housing has an outer cooling gas connection cooling an electrical plug-in connection of the plug connector with a mating plug connector. A cooling gas is brought into the plug connector by the outer cooling gas connection through a cooling gas channel of the connector housing.
Battery pack and a method for charging and cooling the battery pack using an external cooling device
Aspects of the disclosure provide a battery pack and a method for charging the battery pack externally. The battery pack can include a charging port configured to charge the battery pack, a cooling circuit configured to cool the battery pack in a vehicle, and a cooling interface configured to connect the cooling circuit with an external cooling device that is external to the vehicle. The charging port and the cooling interface can be integrated into a charging port assembly, the cooling interface has an inlet port and an outlet port that have high pressure quick disconnect leakless fittings, and the battery pack is configured to be charged externally via the charging port. The battery pack can include a plurality of isolating devices configured to determine whether the cooling circuit is connected to the external cooling device.

The bore plug includes an elongate body having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and defining a major longitudinal axis therethrough, the distal portion being sized and configured to be received within a bore of the implantable medical device. The distal portion includes a lubricating element configured to lubricate the bore when the distal portion is at least one from the group consisting of inserted within and withdrawn from the bore.
Power connector with spring-biased elastomeric conductor seal for submersible pump
An electrical power connector for an electrical submersible well pump motor has a housing having a bore. A pair of rigid insulators are within the bore of the housing, each of the insulators having a cylindrical outward-facing side that is in contact with an inward-facing side wall of the housing. A resilient elastomer seal is sandwiched between the insulators in sealing engagement with the inward-facing side wall. Passages extend through each of the insulators and the elastomer seal for receiving insulated conductors of a power cable. A spring in abutment with one of the insulators exerts an axial compressive force on the elastomer seal.
Method for the setup and/or the reconfiguration of an industrial plant, particularly for the manufacturing of motor vehicles or subassemblies thereof
Described herein is a method for setting up and/or reconfiguring an industrial plant, in particular for the manufacture of motor vehicles or sub-assemblies thereof. The method includes providing a plurality of mobile processing stations, each mobile processing station comprising a palletisable platform and at least one interface unit provided on the palletisable platform and configured for the coupling of the mobile processing station with one or more further adjacent mobile processing stations; arranging mobile processing stations according to a pre-set layout; and coupling at least one interface unit of each mobile processing station with the at least one interface unit of one or more further mobile processing adjacent stations thereto. Each interface unit includes at least one of the following: an electrical and/or electronic coupling device; a fluidic coupling device; and a mechanical coupling device.
CONNECTING APPARATUS
A connecting apparatus (interface) for connecting a component to a further component includes at least one electrical connecting device for producing an electrical connection and at least one hydraulic connecting device for producing a hydraulic connection. The connecting apparatus is configured in such a way that an electrical connection and a hydraulic connection of the connecting apparatus to a component can be produced simultaneously.
HEATED HOSE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
An electrical connector system for use with independently heated hoses includes a first electrical connector, a second electrical connector, a third electrical connector, and a fourth electrical connector. The first electrical connector includes a first key that mates with a second key of the second electrical connector. The third electrical connector includes a third key that mates with a fourth key of the fourth electrical connector. The first and second keys differ from the third and fourth keys, ensuring the electrical connectors are correctly connected.
