20230022676 · 2023-01-26 · ·

An assembly (1) with a charging plug (2) and a charging cable (3) attached thereto for a charging column for charging electric vehicles. The charging cable (3) has a cable sheath (4) and a plurality of conductors (5) movably arranged therein, the charging plug (2) including a plug housing (6) on which plug contacts (8) interconnected to the conductors (5) are arranged at a front end (7). Furthermore, a holder (10), to which the cable sheath (4) of the charging cable (3) is fastened, is arranged at a rear end (9) of the charging plug (2), wherein the holder (10) is arranged rotatably about a longitudinal axis (11) of the plug housing (6) by an angle of rotation (α) relative to the plug housing (6).

Electrical cable assembly

The cable assembly includes a first wire assembly. The first wire assembly is connected to a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a shell and the shell includes an extension. The extension extends away from the rear of the connector. In one embodiment, the extension is integral with the shell. The extension includes one or more openings. The first wire assembly is bent in a controlled manner at first bend. The first opening in the extension maintains the first wire assembly in the bent position to maintain control of the radius in first bend. The radius is controlled to allow the first wire assembly to fit in a small space.

Audio plug
20230075477 · 2023-03-09 ·

An audio plug which comprises a head and a body, a through opening through the body having a rotational symmetry and being configured to allow the passage of at least two cables through the body, a shoulder being formed on the inner surface of the body to form a first cylindrical section on the upstream side and a second cylindrical section on the downstream side on the body, the audio plug further comprising a ring presenting a shoulder on its outer surface to form a first section with a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the first section of the body and a second section with a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the second section of the body, the ring presenting a through opening according to the longitudinal direction, at least one locking member being formed on the inner surface of the ring and being configured to lock the at least two cables relative to the ring, the ring being configured to be inserted into the body to cover the ends of the cables connected to the connection terminals before fixing the body to the head.

Electrical cable connector with rotatable housing

An electrical cable connector includes a contact subassembly and a housing. The contact subassembly is terminated to an electrical cable. The contact subassembly includes a center contact, a dielectric holder, and an outer contact. The contact subassembly has a protrusion extending outward from an outer surface of the contact subassembly. The housing defines a cavity that receives the contact subassembly therein. The electrical cable extends from the housing through an opening at a rear end of the housing. The housing includes a retention mechanism that engages the protrusion of the contact subassembly to secure an axial position of the contact subassembly in the cavity relative to the housing. The retention mechanism allows the housing to rotate relative to the contact subassembly and the cable.

Patch cords for reduced-pair ethernet applications having strain relief units that resist rotational loads and related strain relief units and connectors

Reduced-pair Ethernet patch cords include a twisted pair cable that has a pair of insulated conductors that are contained within a cable jacket. A connector is mounted on a first end of the cable. The connector includes a connector housing and a strain relief unit that is mounted on the cable at the interface between the cable and the connector housing. The strain relief unit includes a plurality of internal protrusions that contact the cable jacket.

DEVICE FOR GUIDING A SURFACE LINK CABLE FOR A SUBMERGED ROBOT

The invention relates to a device for guiding a cable for linking a submerged robot, in particular a robot for cleaning swimming pools, to the device for controlling and powering same, said guiding device comprising: a. a coupling including a rotary connector, connected by one side to a first floating portion of the linking cable extending from the control and power device to said coupling and, by the other side, to a second portion of the linking cable extending from said coupling to the submerged robot; b. a floating mounting including: bi. a float; bii. an interface for mechanically linking the rotary connector to said float; and biii. a hood extending above the surface when the floating mounting is submerged in a liquid and removably connected to the float; c. in which the mechanical link between the float and the rotary coupling is a ball-and-socket link.

Wire cover and connector with wire cover

A wire cover disclosed by this specification is for covering a plurality of wires pulled out from a housing, and includes a cover body into which the plurality of wires pulled out from the housing are introduced from front and from which the plurality of wires are drawn out in a rightward direction, and a guiding portion provided on an inner surface of the cover body and configured to guide small-diameter wires arranged to have shorter in-cover lengths, out of the plurality of wires, than a large-diameter wire on a left side arranged to have a longest in-cover length from a wire introduction position PI where the wire is introduced into the cover body to a wire draw-out position PO where the wire is drawn out from the cover body, out of the plurality of wires to an extra length accommodation space provided in the cover body.

Strain relief devices for communication connectors

The present disclosure relates to strain relief devices for communication connectors. The strain relief devices are configured to couple to the communication connectors via existing fastener components (e.g., screw receivers), and support optic fiber and/or other cables that extend from the communication connectors at a desired position. The strain relief devices prevent the cables from being damaged by a lack of sufficient support during installation, removal, use, repair, and/or transport.
