An angle connector, including an angle holder, a cable, and multiple contacts, is provided. The angle holder includes a first receiving portion, a second receiving portion, and a first bending portion connected therebetween. Each of the first receiving portion and the second receiving portion has multiple receiving grooves. The cable includes multiple core wires. Each of the contacts includes a first connecting portion, a second connecting portion, and a second bending portion connected therebetween. The first connecting portions for electrically connecting to another electrical connector are embedded in the receiving grooves of the first receiving portion. The second connecting portions electrically connected to the core wires are embedded in the receiving grooves of the second receiving portion.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a feature making it easy to accommodate a terminal-equipped wire in a connector housing. This connector-equipped wire is provided with: a terminal-equipped wire comprising a jacketed wire and a terminal component that is provided to an end part of the jacketed wire; and a connector housing comprising a body component where a cavity has been formed and a cover component mounted onto the body component. A distal end part of the terminal component is accommodated in the cavity. A rear end part of the terminal component protrudes out to outside the cavity, and is covered by the cover component or by the cover component and the body component. In the state where the rear end part of the terminal component protrudes out to outside the cavity, the cover component can be mounted onto the body component in accordance with a sliding movement in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the cavity.

A wire cover of an electrical connector is provided and includes a main body and a hood. The main body includes a wire receiving section extending therein. The hood projects from a side of the main body. The hood includes a first wire receiving section disposed along a side of the hood and extending transversely with respect to the main body and a reinforcing rib provided on an opposite side wall of the hood.

A ground shield includes a plurality of contact members configured to contact the ground contacts of a column of contacts of an electrical connector, so as to electrically common the grounds to each other.

An embodiment electrical connection device for a vehicle includes a male connector housing having a blade terminal mounting portion, a female connector housing to couple to the male connector housing and having a tab terminal mounting portion, a blade terminal mounted in the blade terminal mounting portion, and a tab terminal mounted in the tab terminal mounting portion to connect to the blade terminal when the male connector housing and the female connector housing are coupled to each other. An embodiment blade terminal includes a terminal body having a first connection portion and a contact spring inserted into an inner side of the first connection portion to connect the terminal body and the tab terminal to each other by being brought into contact with the tab terminal when the tab terminal is inserted into the inner side of the first connection portion.

An embodiment electrical connection device for a vehicle includes a male connector housing having a blade terminal mounting portion, a female connector housing to couple to the male connector housing and having a tab terminal mounting portion, a blade terminal mounted in the blade terminal mounting portion, and a tab terminal mounted in the tab terminal mounting portion to connect to the blade terminal when the male connector housing and the female connector housing are coupled to each other. An embodiment blade terminal includes a terminal body having a first connection portion and a contact spring inserted into an inner side of the first connection portion to connect the terminal body and the tab terminal to each other by being brought into contact with the tab terminal when the tab terminal is inserted into the inner side of the first connection portion.

A connector arrangement comprises at least at least two cables, each comprising one cable sheath, and respectively one shielding arranged within the cable sheath. The shielding is exposed from the cable sheath at one cable end. The connector arrangement additionally comprises a connector housing made of an electrically conductive material, in which there is realized a respective a leadthrough for each cable. The exposed shielding of each cable is located in the respective leadthrough, and is frictionally connected to the connector housing. The connector arrangement also comprises a crimp barrel. The crimp barrel encloses the connector housing and each leadthrough, and is frictionally connected to the connector housing.

A housing includes a housing main body configured to be fitted with a mating housing, and a cover configured to be mounted to an end portion of the housing main body from which an electric wire is drawn out and to cover the electric wire drawn out from the housing main body. The housing main body includes a lock arm for locking a protruding portion of the mating housing, and a release arm that swings when an operation portion of the release arm is pressed to release a locking of the protruding portion and the lock arm. The cover has a lock piece that is interposed between the housing main body and the operation portion when the cover is mounted to the housing main body so as to restrict a swing of the release arm.

A connector arrangement comprises at least at least two cables, each comprising one cable sheath, and respectively one shielding arranged within the cable sheath. The shielding is exposed from the cable sheath at one cable end. The connector arrangement additionally comprises a connector housing made of an electrically conductive material, in which there is realized a respective a leadthrough for each cable. The exposed shielding of each cable is located in the respective leadthrough, and is frictionally connected to the connector housing. The connector arrangement also comprises a crimp barrel. The crimp barrel encloses the connector housing and each leadthrough, and is frictionally connected to the connector housing.

A housing includes a housing main body configured to be fitted with a mating housing, and a cover configured to be mounted to an end portion of the housing main body from which an electric wire is drawn out and to cover the electric wire drawn out from the housing main body. The housing main body includes a lock arm for locking a protruding portion of the mating housing, and a release arm that swings when an operation portion of the release arm is pressed to release a locking of the protruding portion and the lock arm. The cover has a lock piece that is interposed between the housing main body and the operation portion when the cover is mounted to the housing main body so as to restrict a swing of the release arm.
