ELECTRIC CONNECTOR WITH WIRE HOLDER
An electric connector is provided to ensure reliable termination of cable wires having different sizes. The electric connector can include a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a wire holder. The wire holder includes a wire support extension configured to be at least partially inserted into the housing. The wire support extension defines a plurality of wire receiving passages configured to arrange a plurality of first wires thereon and align the first wires with contact insert slots of the housing, respectively, when the wire support extension is inserted to the housing. The wire holder further includes a plurality of wire support ribs configured to centralize second wires smaller than the first wires.
Field terminable single pair ethernet connector
A communication connector has an outer housing with an opening, a shielding wrap at least partially enclosing the outer housing, and a contact carrier assembly configured to be interested into the opening of the outer housing. The contact carrier assembly at least partially encloses at least two contacts each with an insulation displacement contact (IDC). The contact carrier assembly also has an integrated wire cap that utilizes a hinge feature to press cable conductors of a cable into their respective IDCs.
Field terminable ethernet connector with integral termination cap
A connector has a plug housing and a termination cap housing assembly pivotably attached to the plug housing. The termination cap housing assembly has a pair of contacts secured thereto such that pivoting the termination cap housing assembly to the plug housing terminates the contacts to a pair of wires inserted into the plug housing.
Implantable electric connecting structure between an electric implant and an electric feed and drain line structure
The invention is an implantable electrical connection between an electrical implant which has at least one electrical conductor and at least one electrical feed line. The invention further relates to a method for producing an implantable electrical connection between an electrical implant. The invention comprises at least one electrical cable having a cable end, to which an electrically conductive flat piece is unsupportedly fined, and that the at least one implant-side electrical conductor is joined to the flat piece.
RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR WITH CABLE-CLAMPED STRUCTURE
A receptacle connector with a cable-clamped structure of the invention includes a housing, an electrical module and a cable clamping module. The electrical module is disposed in the housing and includes a circuit board, a plurality of contacting terminals and a plurality of prick type terminals. The circuit board is disposed in the housing. The contacting terminals and the prick type terminals are disposed on the printed circuit board. The cable clamping module includes a first clamping member, a second clamping member and a cable clamper, wherein the first clamping member engages the second clamping member, and the cable clamper is pivoted to the first clamping member. A cable extends through the first clamping member and the second clamping member engaging the first clamping member, the cable clamper presses the cable with the first positioning portion positioned in the second positioning portion of the first clamping portion.
Electrical cable assembly
The cable assembly includes a first wire assembly. The first wire assembly is connected to a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a shell and the shell includes an extension. The extension extends away from the rear of the connector. In one embodiment, the extension is integral with the shell. The extension includes one or more openings. The first wire assembly is bent in a controlled manner at first bend. The first opening in the extension maintains the first wire assembly in the bent position to maintain control of the radius in first bend. The radius is controlled to allow the first wire assembly to fit in a small space.
QUICK ASSEMBLY PLUG CONNECTOR
Provided herein is are quick-assembly plug connectors. In some embodiments, an assembly may include a body, and a contact carrier within the body, the contact carrier including a main body including a plurality of openings each operable to receive a contact, and a plurality of legs extending from the main body, each of the plurality of legs coupled with the body.
Connector For A Flat Flexible Cable
A connector for a flat flexible cable includes a housing and a terminal disposed in the housing. The housing has a base and a cover. The base has a closed section with a receiving passageway and an open section extending from the closed section. The cover encloses the open section in a closed position of the cover. The cover has a main body with a pressing surface and a latch extending from the main body. The latch engages a catch of the base in the closed position. The terminal is disposed in the receiving passageway and has a tab extending into the open section. The pressing surface abuts the tab and presses the tab toward the base in the closed position.
