Electrical Plug-Type Connector Part
20170358888 · 2017-12-14 · ·

An electrical plug-type connector part includes a contact carrier, a protective housing, and a clamping bracket. The contact carrier has chambers for receiving contact elements connected to electrical connection lines. The protective housing is engaged over the contact carrier and has passage openings receiving the electrical connection lines. The clamping bracket is attachable to the protective housing and has elastic spring arms corresponding to the passage openings in the protective housing. When the clamping bracket is attached to the protective housing the spring arms extend into the passage openings and resiliently press the electrical connection lines received in the passage openings against an inner wall of the protective housing for the clamping bracket to thereby fix the electrical connection lines to the protective housing in a clamping manner.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

An electrical connector including: a terminal body; an insulator accommodated within a receptacle of the terminal body, the insulator having at least one cavity adapted for holding a terminal connected to a wire of a cable; a metal ferrule accommodated within the receptacle of the terminal body; wherein the metal ferrule has a crimp portion adapted to be crimped onto the cable; wherein the metal ferrule is form-fittingly connected to the terminal body; and wherein the metal ferrule has a sleeve like holding portion centering the ferrule within the receptacle.

LARGE CONDUCTOR INDUSTRIAL PLUG

A communication plug including a plug body, a cavity in the plug body, the cavity having a first portion, a second portion and a third portion, a load bar having a plurality of openings on a front face of the load bar, where the cavity is sized to engage the load bar such that the load bar directs at least one wire inserted into a corresponding opening in the load bar into channels in the plug.

Connection device and method for an electronic housing for connecting a conductor, particularly a shield conductor

An electronics housing includes: a housing body; and a printed circuit board. The housing body has a connecting device for connecting a conductor, in particular a shield conductor, of a cable to the printed circuit board. The connecting device has a receiving body in which a receiving space with an opening for the conductor is formed. A cover for the opening is provided and is movable between an open position, in which the cover opens the opening for inserting an uninsulated conductor section of the conductor into the receiving space, and a closed position, in which the cover closes the opening at least in sections. The receiving body of the connecting device is disposed such that the printed circuit board is arrangeable with at least one contact section in the receiving space, and, in a closed position, the cover presses the uninsulated conductor section.

CORD RETAINING WALL PLATE FOR COMBINATION AC AND DC POWER OUTLETS
20220158432 · 2022-05-19 ·

A wall plate for covering an AC/DC wall outlet includes a generally rectangular or “designer” opening configured to receive the wall outlet. The wall plate includes a cable retention member and a pass-through section. The cable retention member and the pass-through section protrude from a front face of the wall plate. The retention member protrudes far enough to allow the wall plate to seat on the outlet while a cable connector is in a corresponding DC outlet of the wall outlet. The retention member includes a slot configured to allow the connector to pass-through the slot in a first orientation but not a second orientation 90 degrees off from the first orientation. When the connector is in the DC outlet, it is in the second orientation relative to the slot. The pass-through section defines an opening that allows the connector to be received in a second DC outlet corresponding to the pass-through section regardless of orientation of the connector relative to the opening and pass-through section. The cord retention member and pass-through section cooperate to form a bridge between sides of the wall plate over the AC outlet. In one embodiment, the pass-through section extends vertically further from the face of the plate than the cord retention member.

MULTI-DIAMETER AND MULTI-DIRECTIONAL CABLE RETAINING ASSEMBLY

A cable connector assembly includes lower and upper hood parts which are mated together to form a passageway therethrough in which a connector and a cable retaining assembly are mounted. The cable retaining includes a cable retaining body and a cable retainer attached thereto. The cable retaining body provides two exits and the cable retaining body can be positioned within the hood parts in a number of different orientations to change the exit path. Multiple cable retaining bodies and cable retainers can be interchangeably mounted within the hood parts.

Electrical connector with a turnable insulating cover

An electric connector includes a tubular conductive shell, covers provided outside the shell to cover at least part of the shell, and a movable cover coupled to the cover through a rotary shaft. The cover has locking pieces on a cable side. The movable cover has locking pieces to be engaged with the locking pieces. At least one of the locking piece or the locking piece includes multiple locking pieces arranged along a circumferential direction of a circle about the rotary shaft. The locking pieces and the locking pieces form a ratchet mechanism, and have such a structure that the locking pieces and the locking pieces are movable in an approaching direction and movement in a direction in which the locking pieces and the locking pieces are separated from each other is restricted.
