PCIE/SAS female electrical connector

A Peripheral Component Interconnect Express/Serial Attached SCSI (PSAS) female connector includes a frame member, a terminal member, and a cover member; the frame member including a terminal groove disposed in the frame member and a tilt portion disposed in the terminal groove adjacent to a plug end; the terminal member inserted in the frame member and including a Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) 7 pin terminal, a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 40 pin terminal, a 15 Pin signal terminal, a 6 Pin terminal, and a 4 Pin terminal. When the PSAS female connector is engaged with the male connector, the SATA 7 Pin terminal and the SAS 40 Pin terminal are pressed by a terminal of the male connector to be bent toward an outer lateral side of the terminal groove to contact the elastic plate of the cover member. The present invention effectively improves the cross interference during high speed transmission, thereby achieving the Generation 5 performance requirement.

Battery connection device

A battery connection device for connecting to a vehicle battery includes a top member, a bottom member having a side wall and a bottom wall. The side wall, top member, and bottom member form a box-like enclosure. The bottom wall includes a through-hole with a circumferential face, an adapter member arranged inside the box-like enclosure extends at least partially through the through-hole for connection with the battery. A dimension of the adapter member is smaller than a dimension of the through-hole to form a gap between an outer face of the adapter member facing the circumferential face and the circumferential face, and flexible connection member connected to the adapter member and to the bottom member and closing the gap between the outer face and the circumferential face. The flexible connection member includes an electromagnetic shield for shielding electromagnetic radiation and a seal for sealing the gap against dust and/or moisture.

Battery connection device

A battery connection device for connecting to a vehicle battery includes a top member, a bottom member having a side wall and a bottom wall. The side wall, top member, and bottom member form a box-like enclosure. The bottom wall includes a through-hole with a circumferential face, an adapter member arranged inside the box-like enclosure extends at least partially through the through-hole for connection with the battery. A dimension of the adapter member is smaller than a dimension of the through-hole to form a gap between an outer face of the adapter member facing the circumferential face and the circumferential face, and flexible connection member connected to the adapter member and to the bottom member and closing the gap between the outer face and the circumferential face. A radius of the first portion is larger than a distance from a central axis of an electric wire of the first connector to a contact part in a neutral state. A core wire of the electric wire is electrically connected to a terminal portion of the second connector via a terminal portion of the first connector.

PUSH-PULL ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

A push-pull connector for a panel containing at least one opening corresponding with at least one circuit board includes a housing with a spring hook and a shell connected therewith. The housing has an outer surface, at least one circuit board connector arranged at a first open end thereof, and a second end configured to receive an electrical cable for connection with at least one circuit board connector. The spring hook is connected with the housing outer surface and is operable between a hold position where the housing is connected with the panel at the at least one panel opening and a release position wherein the housing is disconnected from the panel. The shell is slidably connected with the housing outer surface for displacement between a release position and a hold position, wherein the shell or housing are moved toward and away from each other to operate the spring hook toward the release and hold position, respectively.

Backplane connector with improved shielding effect

A backplane connector includes a wafer and a mounting block. The wafer includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The conductive terminal includes a contact portion, a tail portion and a connection portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first metal shield includes a first protruding piece. The second metal shield includes a second protruding piece. The mounting block includes a slot for passing through the tail portions of the differential signal terminals. The first protruding piece and the second protruding piece are at least partially inserted into the slot. This arrangement can provide better shielding adjacent to the tail portions of the differential signal terminals, reduce crosstalk, and improve the quality of signal transmission.

Backplane connector with improved shielding effect

A backplane connector includes a wafer and a mounting block. The wafer includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The conductive terminal includes a contact portion, a tail portion and a connection portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first metal shield includes a first protruding piece. The second metal shield includes a second protruding piece. The mounting block includes a slot for passing through the tail portions of the differential signal terminals. The first protruding piece and the second protruding piece are at least partially inserted into the slot. This arrangement can provide better shielding adjacent to the tail portions of the differential signal terminals, reduce crosstalk, and improve the quality of signal transmission.

Keyed input/output connector

A cage includes a cage housing forming an inner area with internal walls that define an upper port and a lower port. Each of the ports include a cap that forms a keyway. The cap in an upper bay can extend from the upper bay in a direction that is opposite a direction the cap in the lower port extends. The cage may include a plurality of spring fingers therein which engage with a conductive bezel. The cage provides EMI shielding for the plug connector.

A connector for use in a free-standing connector port for mating with an external pluggable module is disclosed. The connector has terminals that extend lengthwise of the connector so that cables may be terminated to the terminals and the terminals and cable generally are horizontally aligned together. The connector includes a housing and a pair of connecting elements that flank a card-receiving slot of the connector. The cables exit from the rear of the connector elements and from the connector port. The connector elements engage the connector port to fix the connector in place within the connector port.
