Contact for direct plug connector and direct plug connector
The invention relates to a contact for a direct plug-in connector having two strips made of sheet-metal material that are arranged next to one another in an insertion portion and in a contact portion, wherein the insertion portion is provided for insertion into a through-opening, which is electrically conductive at its inner wall, in a printed circuit board and the contact portion is provided to make electrical contact with the inner wall of the through-opening, wherein the two strips are connected together in a connection portion that is provided for connecting to a cable strand, and wherein a connecting portion is located between the connection portion and the contact portion, wherein the two strips are located in a common plane and formed in an L-shaped manner in the connecting portion, wherein the legs of the connecting portion that proceed from the connection portion extend parallel to one another and the legs of the connecting portion that are connected to the contact portion extend towards one another.
CONNECTOR WITH SLIDING TAP
The disclosed embodiments relate generally to a modular connector for a multi-conductor ribbon cable provided for power and data transmission to a network of devices. The modular connector is coupled to the conductors in the ribbon cable by insulation displacement members. The connector contains both fixed and movable conductor punches used to configure a network interface.
Insulation Displacement Connector with Modular Structure for Fast IDC Connection
An insulation displacement contact (IDC) cluster includes a plurality of IDC cluster modular units each having a plurality of receptacles adjacent to one another in a row. Each of the receptacles receives an IDC terminal. A first IDC cluster modular unit of the IDC cluster modular units is coupled to a second IDC cluster modular unit of the IDC cluster modular units to form a modular structure by stacking and fastening together, arranging the receptacles of the IDC cluster modular units in parallel rows.

TERMINAL FOR CONNECTING ELECTRIC WIRES AND CONNECTOR USING THE SAME
A terminal for connecting electric wires and a connector using the same provide a terminal which includes a main body part having a band shape, a first connection part, and a second connection part and in which the first and second connection parts are curved at a right angle to each other so that electric wires are connected in the state in which the electric wires are intersected and arranged at a right angle to each other. Accordingly, a flow of a current can be branched through a simple terminal structure. As a result, a current can be supplied to various supply places through the minimum part.

Connector
In a first contact of a connector, an insulation-displacement connection portion has two insulation-displacement blades and has a narrow slit and a wide slit. The insulation-displacement blades are different from each other in position in a first direction and correspond to the narrow slit. The insulation-displacement blades are obliquely intersected with the first direction. The narrow slit and the wide slit extend in the front-rear direction. In the first direction, the insulation-displacement blade is located between the narrow slit 362 and the wide slit 364. In a second direction, a middle of the wide slit 364 is different from a middle of the narrow slit 362 in position. When covered wire is pushed into the narrow slit, it is pressed on the insulation-displacement blades at different timings in order.

Insulation displacement contact with expanded wire range capacity
An insulation displacement arms. The insulation displacement arms define a conductor or wire receiving slot. The insulation displacement arms have insulation stripping sections, weakened sections and base sections. The weakened sections have weakened section widths which are less than insulation stripping section widths of the insulation stripping sections and less than base section widths of the base section. The weakened sections are resiliently deformed upon one or more insulated conductors engaging the insulation stripping sections of the insulation displacement arms as the one or more insulated conductors are inserted into the insulation stripping zone of the wire receiving slot, allowing the insulation displacement contact to accommodate the one or more insulated conductors of the same type and gauge chosen from a broad range of gauges.
