ELECTRICAL WIRING DEVICES WITH SCREWLESS WIRE TERMINALS
Electrical wiring devices that incorporate screwless wire terminal connections are described. The electrical wiring devices include for example, single and duplex blade-type electrical receptacles, blade-type locking electrical receptacles, single or multi-pole electrical switches, combination switches and blade-type receptacles, blade-type plugs for electrical cords, blade-type connectors for electrical cords, male and female inlet connectors and pin-in-sleeve connectors. The electrical wiring devices include a plurality of contact assemblies having a horizontally moving or rotating activating member that permits wires to be inserted into or removed from the contact assemblies.
Electrical wiring devices with screwless connection terminals
Electrical wiring devices that incorporate clamp-type wire terminal connections are described. The electrical wiring devices include for example, single and duplex blade-type electrical receptacles, blade-type locking electrical receptacles, single or multi-pole electrical switches, combination switches and blade-type receptacles, blade-type plugs for electrical cords and blade-type connectors for electrical cords. The electrical wiring devices include a plurality of contact assemblies. Each contact assembly includes a wire terminal and a plunger.
Electrical Connector
An electrical connector comprises a contact, an electric wire connection spring connecting an electric wire to the contact, and a housing. The housing includes a contact accommodating portion receiving the contact, a mechanism accommodating portion receiving the electric wire connection spring, and a lock arm supported on the contact accommodating portion in front of the mechanism accommodating portion and configured to catch a mating connector. The mechanism accommodating portion has a front opening disposed between a rear end portion of the lock arm and the electric wire connection spring.
Electrical Connector
An electrical connector comprises a contact, a housing retaining the contact, and a lock arm configured to catch a mating connector. The lock arm has an arm main body integrally formed with the housing and a releasing operation portion formed separately from the housing and attached to the arm main body.

ELECTRICAL POWER ACCESSORY
This invention relates to an electrical power accessory which includes a device housing and a wire connection receptacle integrated into the device housing, the wire connection receptacle having two or more wire receiving formations selected from any two or more of an earth wire receiving formation, a neutral wire receiving formation and a live wire receiving formation, each wire receiving formation having a wire retainer for securing a wire in the receptacle, each wire receiving formation being marked according to the type of wire receivable therein. The electrical power accessory also includes an electrical contact in each wire receiving formation, each electrical contact being connected to an electrical conductor extending from the wire connection receptacle such that when a wire is received within the wire receiving formation, the wire is electrically connected to the electrical conductor.
WIRE TERMINALS AND METHOD OF USES
The present disclosure relates to wire terminals and/or termination mechanisms arranged and configured for use with a wiring device. The wire terminals may be used in any suitable line-voltage wiring device. The wire terminals are arranged and configured to selectively receive a distal end of a wire therein.
