Cable splice having interlocking jaw members

A cable splice includes a casing having a central portion and a first end including a first aperture. The casing defines an interior cavity. A jaw assembly is positioned in the interior cavity and moveable between a loading position and a terminated position for engaging a conductor. A biasing member biases the jaw assembly toward the terminated position. The jaw assembly includes a jaw member having a jaw body, a curvilinear projection extending from the jaw body and a curvilinear groove extending into the jaw body. The projection and groove are aligned with one another and configured to mate with a respective groove and projection of an adjacent jaw member.

A socket for an electric component includes a socket body in which a contact pin is provided in a housing part and a cover member provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the socket body. The cover member has a cover member body and a heat slug in contact with an electric component. The heat slug is configured so as to move downward and press the electric component by being pressed from above by a cooling head in a state in which the cover member is closed. In a state in which the electric component is housed in the housing part, a restricting mechanism allows the downward movement of the heat slug, whereas in a state in which the electric component is not housed in the housing part, the restricting mechanism prevents the downward movement of the heat slug.

Connection device and method for an electronic housing for connecting a conductor, particularly a shield conductor

An electronics housing includes: a housing body; and a printed circuit board. The housing body has a connecting device for connecting a conductor, in particular a shield conductor, of a cable to the printed circuit board. The connecting device has a receiving body in which a receiving space with an opening for the conductor is formed. A cover for the opening is provided and is movable between an open position, in which the cover opens the opening for inserting an uninsulated conductor section of the conductor into the receiving space, and a closed position, in which the cover closes the opening at least in sections. The receiving body of the connecting device is disposed such that the printed circuit board is arrangeable with at least one contact section in the receiving space, and, in a closed position, the cover presses the uninsulated conductor section.
