Contact Of A Connector
A contact includes a cantilever beam and a protection tab. The cantilever beam extends from a beam connected end to a beam free end along an insertion direction. The protection tab extends from a tab connected end to a tab free end in a direction opposite to the insertion direction. The tab free end is positioned adjacent to the beam free end.
Connectors for use in high pressure coax core ejection and fiber optic cable injection
A connector includes a first connector body having a through hole configured to receive a conduit, a first washer disposed in the first connector body, the first washer being configured to permit the conduit to be pushed in a first direction through the through hole while resisting movement of the conduit in a second direction opposite to the first direction, a second connector body configured to be coupled to the first connector body, the second connector body having a through hole configured to receive a tubular member, and a second washer disposed in the second connector body, the second washer being configured to permit the tubular member to be pushed in the second direction through the through hole of the second connector body and into the second connector body while resisting movement of the tubular member in the first direction.
Apparatus for transmitting broadcast signals, apparatus for receiving broadcast signals, method of transmitting broadcast signals and method of receiving broadcast signals
The present invention proposes a method for providing a broadcast content in an apparatus, the method comprising: requesting a filter code to an application running on the apparatus by using a first Application Programming Interface (API); receiving a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) object from the application in response to the first API; storing the filter code; receiving an Extended File Delivery Table (EFDT) having a first filter code associated with a first file; and selectively downloading the first file by comparing the stored filter code with the first filter code in the EFDT.
Sleeve and shield terminal manufacturing method
A sleeve (11) is a hollow cylindrical member provided in a shield terminal (10), and pressable by a wire barrel (18) by being arranged between an insulating portion (63) and a shield portion (62) of a shielded cable (60). A convex portion (36) shaped to bulge radially outward over an entire circumference is provided at an intermediate position of the sleeve (11) in an axial direction. The convex portion (36) is crushed and elongated by the wire barrel (18) of an outer conductor terminal (13). The insulating portion (63) can be prevented from being excessively compressed.
Coaxial connector having an outer conductor engager
A connector for a coaxial cable includes a coupler configured to engage another coaxial cable connector, a body configured to be disposed at least partially within the coupler, and an outer conductor engager made of a conductive material disposed within the body and the coupler. An interior of the body includes a biasing element, and a compression sleeve is disposed at an opposite axial side of the outer conductor engager relative to the biasing element. The compression sleeve, the outer conductor engager, and the body are configured such that opposite axial forces applied to the compression sleeve and the outer conductor engager cause the outer conductor engager to move axially relative to one another and to cause the outer conductor engager to move axially relative to the body when the connector is coupled to the coaxial cable. The outer conductor engager is configured to be compressed by the biasing member when the outer conductor engager portion moves relative to the body such that an interior surface of the outer conductor engager portion is compressed radially inward against an outer conductor of the coaxial cable.
CLAMP ASSEMBLY FOR RF COMPRESSION CONNECTOR
An RF compression connector includes a simplified clamp mechanism having a common clamp base, and a plurality of segments disposed on the common clamp base wherein the segments include alternating first and second retention members disposed along the circumference of the clamp, wherein each of the first retention members has an outwardly projecting shoulder to engage a connector body and each of the second retention members includes an inwardly projecting shoulder to engage an outer jacket of a coaxial cable connector. The first and second retention members of the clamp mechanism inhibit separation of the connector body relative to the coaxial cable.
Modular plug-in connector system
The invention relates to a plug-in connector, substantially consisting of an insulating body and at least one contact element which is mounted directly in the insulating body, wherein the insulating body directly forms the plug-in connector housing of the plug-in connector. The plug-in connector is of particularly simple construction and can therefore be manufactured quickly. In addition, the plug-in connector is of very robust design and suitable for industrial use, in particular in harsh environments.
COAXIAL CABLE AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING SAME
The present disclosure describes a coaxial cable-connector assembly. The coaxial cable-connector assembly including a coaxial cable, a coaxial connector, and a polymeric sleeve. The outer connector body is swaged or crimped onto the polymeric sleeve. An end of a corrugated outer conductor of the coaxial cable is flared radially outwardly to form a flared end that secures the polymeric sleeve onto the coaxial cable. The polymeric sleeve separates the corrugated outer conductor of the coaxial cable from the outer conductor body of the coaxial connector to prevent direct radial electrical connection therebetween and the polymeric sleeve axially forces the flared end of the outer conductor of the coaxial cable in contact with a shoulder of the outer connector body of the coaxial connector. Additional coaxial cable-connector assemblies and related methods of assembling the same are described herein.
WIRE ASSEMBLY WITH WELDED CONTACT
A wire assembly includes a cable and a contact. The wire includes at least an inner conductor and an insulating jacket surrounding the inner conductor, wherein a tip of the inner conductor is exposed at a first end. The contact is welded to the tip of the inner conductor at the first end.
ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT MODULE
An electronic circuit module includes: a substrate on which a wiring pattern having an electrode portion is formed; a cable having an external insulator and a conductor portion, at least a distal end side of the external insulator being removed to expose a conductor, an exposed portion of the conductor being defined as the conductor portion; and an electronic component having terminals at least on two opposed faces of the electronic component. At least one of the terminals of the electronic component is directly connected to the conductor portion, and is configured to be electrically connected to the electrode portion through the conductor portion.
