DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TESTING THE CONTENTS OF A SWITCHGEAR CABINET FOLLOWING INSTALLATION ACCORDING TO A PLAN
A device for testing the contents of a switch cabinet following installation of equipment components (2a-2e) according to a plan and the wiring thereof via terminals (6) provided therefor by means of designated electrical cables (5), includes a camera unit (7) for the at least two-dimensional image capture of the components (2a-2e) fully installed and wired on an installation board (4) of a switch cabinet (1). The device can further include an evaluation unit (8) for carrying out a comparison between an imaged layout (100), on the basis of the image capture, of the actual state with a provided plan layout (200) of the target state.
Wiring structure
A wiring structure includes: multiple wiring modules configured to be installed on a rail that extends in a predetermined first direction, so as to be adjacent to one another along the rail by being placed on the rail from the side of a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; an IO unit configured to be attached to the plurality of wiring modules from the second direction side to thereby be electrically connected to the multiple wiring modules. In each of the multiple wiring modules, a lead wire extending in a third direction that intersects the first direction and the second direction, from a first face of the wiring module that lies on the third direction side, is connected to the wiring module.
Oversized switchgear trailer for electric hydraulic fracturing
A hydraulic fracturing system for fracturing a subterranean formation includes a primary switchgear arranged on a support structure. The system also includes a secondary switchgear, arranged on the support structure, the secondary switchgear positioned separately from the primary switchgear and within an enclosure, the secondary switchgear receiving an electrical input from the primary switchgear and including an plurality of feed connections for supplying electrical power to a plurality of fracturing equipment.
Switchgear or control gear
A switchgear or control gear includes: at least one first compartment; at least one second compartment; a plurality of main switchgear or control gear components including a main busbar system, a three position linear or rotational movement disconnector, a circuit breaker, and at least a first part of an insulated cable connection; and a plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components including a disconnector drive and a circuit breaker drive. The plurality of main switchgear or control gear components are housed in the at least one first compartment. The plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components are housed in the at least one second compartment. When one or more of the plurality of main switchgear or control gear components is energized, the at least one first compartment is hermetically sealable or maintainable at an internal air pressure greater than ambient air pressure.
Right Angle Adapter Assembly
A right angle adapter assembly for mounting a surveillance camera to an eave includes a junction box that has an open end and an exit. The open end is positionable against an eave of a roof to insertably receive electrical wiring. A coupling pipe removably engages the exit in the junction box. A mounting disk is provided that has a mounting face and the mounting disk is attachable to the coupling pipe having the mounting face lying on a horizontal plane. In this way a surveillance camera can be mounted to the mounting face thereby facilitating the surveillance camera to be mounted to the eave of the roof according to manufacturer's recommendations.
Prefabricated Electrical Module and System
A prefabricated electrical module and system along with fabrication and installation methods are provided. The prefab electrical module includes a circuit breaker panel casing that houses multiple circuit breakers, and a chase extending upwardly from the panel casing that stows coiled lengths of homerun wiring attached to the circuit breakers. During transport, a temporary panel casing front cover protects the panel casing front, and a forwardly protruding guard cover with an upwardly projecting hoisting handle shields the front and top of the chase and wiring. During installation, a hoisting bracket is attached at the top of the stud bay into which the prefab electrical module will be installed. A drill-powered winch is then used to lift the module to the proper height in the bay. The panel casing, chase, wiring, and breakers remain in the wall. The hoisting bracket, temporary panel casing front cover, guard cover, drill, and winch are reusable.
Electrical substation yard wiring
A method of connecting electrical substation wiring in an electrical substation provides pre-bundled yard cables configured to connect between field devices in the substation and a yard interface connection cabinet. The yard interface connection cabinet has an outside plug bulkhead plate that is accessible from outside of a control house that houses the yard interface connection cabinet. The outside plug bulkhead plate has a plurality of connectors configured to mate with the yard cables. The yard interface connection cabinet further has internal wires extending from an inside plug bulkhead plate and terminating at a terminal block. The connections and wires in the yard interface connection cabinet are tested with the yard cables before installation of the yard interface connection cabinet and yard cables in the substation. The yard cables are connected between the field devices and the outside plug bulkhead plate from outside of the control house.
Solid state prefabricated substation
A prefabricated substation is provided with a solid state breaker and a transformer. The substation preferably transforms voltage from a medium voltage to a low voltage. The substation also breaks current flow through the substation when a fault occurs. The primary components of the substation, including the transformer and solid state breaker, are located together within the housing.
ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR SYSTEM FOR A ROTOR BLADE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR SYSTEM
An electrical conductor assembly for a rotor blade includes a substrate and at least one electrical conductor. The substrate includes an inboard end portion and an outboard end portion. The at least one electrical conductor is attached to the substrate and extends between the inboard end portion and the outboard end portion. The at least one electrical conductor is configured to transmit electricity along a length of the rotor blade. The inboard end portion and the outboard end portion are structured such that when the electrical conductor assembly is installed within the rotor blade, the inboard end portion is securable relative to the rotor blade and the outboard end portion is movable relative to the rotor blade.
Electrical/electronics distribution equipment cabinet with multiple isolated cable/conduit routing compartments
An electrical/electronics power distribution cabinet is disclosed which includes internal components enabling the cabinet to be quickly and easily reconfigured for allowing all cabling to exit an upper end of the cabinet or a lower end of the cabinet. The cabinet includes fully isolated top and bottom panelboard circuit breaker areas and a movable internal wall portion that helps to form an isolated compartment to route electrical cabling within the interior area of the cabinet, while keeping the cabling associated with the two panelboard circuit breaker areas fully separate from one another. This enables access to one of the top or bottom panelboard circuit breaker areas for service or reconfiguration without the need to access the other.
