The present disclosure relates to splice enclosures adapted for providing cable repairs. The splice enclosures can include a bracket arrangement that allows for variable placement of splice modules on platforms of the bracket arrangement. The bracket arrangement can also provide cable anchoring locations.

A cable distributor for individual cables that are shielded by an electrically conductive shield. The cable distributor has an electrically insulating outer housing, which receives a connection piece at which at least two individual cables are connected to each another. The shields of the connected individual cables are connected to each other by means of an electrically conductive shield housing, as a result of which a continuous shielding of the current-carrying parts of the cable distributor is achieved. A method for producing such a cable distributor is also proposed.

The system also has a rotating collar with an opening in line with the opening of the main housing. The rotating collar having a series of follower features configured to be inserted into the opening of the main housing such that when the rotating collar is rotated relative to the main housing, the follower features engage the ramp features to compress the cable inserted with the strain relief system. The rotating collar also having at least one ratcheting tab configured to engage the series of serrations of the main housing such has to provide a ratcheting function between the rotating collar and the outer housing.
