ELECTRICAL RADIAL FLOW MACHINE AND POWERTRAIN

An electric radial flow machine having a stator, a rotor body connected to a rotor shaft, and a spring element which applies a spring force to the rotor body in the axial direction such that in a first operating position, the rotor body is held in an axial position in which the overlap between opposing surfaces of the rotor body and the stator is less than 100%. A displacement device with first and second displacement elements generates an axial movement between the rotor body and the stator against the spring force using a torque produced between the rotor shaft and the rotor body so that in the event of a rotation of the first displacement element relative to the second displacement element or vice versa, the rotor body is pushed on the rotor shaft axially against the spring force.

A rotor structure for a conical air gap electrodynamic machine has one or more rotor assemblies arranged on an axis of rotation. Each of the one or more rotor assemblies includes magnetically permeable structures positioned radially about the axis of rotation. The magnetically permeable structures include first surfaces confronting the conical air gap that are oriented at an angle to the axis of rotation and second adjacent surfaces that are at an angle to the axis of rotation. The second adjacent surfaces are disposed radially closer to the axis of rotation than the first surfaces. One or more groups of magnetic structures include magnetic material. The one or more groups of magnetic structures include a first group of magnetic structures interleaved with the magnetically permeable structures, a second group of magnetic structures, and a flux conductor shield disposed adjacent to the second group of magnetic structures.

Electrical machine including a magnetic flux weakening apparatus

An electric machine includes a rotor having a magnetic field generating device for generating a magnetic flux. A flux changing apparatus of the electric machine includes an axially displaceable body that is disposed axially outside the magnetic field generating device for changing a magnetic flux within a gap between the rotor and a stator in dependence upon an axial position of the body relative to the rotor. The flux changing apparatus includes an adjusting device for axially adjusting the axial position of the body relative to the rotor. The adjusting device includes an actuator and an adjusting element. The actuator acts on the body via the adjusting element. The adjusting element engages the body and/or the actuator in such a manner that a rotational movement of the body can be decoupled from the adjusting element, a housing of the electric machine, the rotor and/or the actuator.
