SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POWER LINE COMMUNICATION TO CONTROL FANS
Disclosed is a system and method for power line control of electrical fans. The system generates a sinusoidal wave using a crystal oscillator. Control information is added to the sinusoidal wave by routing the wave through a phase inversion circuit a predetermined intervals according to a protocol. The resulting control signal is sent on a power line. The control signal is received using a crystal filter, decoded and converted to executable instructions for controlling a fan motor.
MULTI-CORE OSCILLATOR WITH ENHANCED MODE ROBUSTNESS
Voltage-controlled oscillation circuitry includes multiple cores and multiple mode or gain boosters coupled between the multiple cores. To prevent an undesired operating mode of the voltage-controlled oscillation circuitry from dominating a desired operating mode (e.g., an in-phase operating mode or an out-of-phase operating mode), the mode boosters may increase a desired gain of the desired operating mode and decrease an undesired gain of the undesired operating modes. In particular, mode boosters coupled to terminals of the cores that are associated with the desired operating mode may be enabled, while mode boosters coupled to terminals of the cores that are associated with the undesired operating mode may be disabled.
SIGNAL COMBINING AND DISTRIBUTION NETWORK APPARATUS INCLUDING MULTI-ARRAY CIRCUITS
Disclosed is a signal combining and distribution network apparatus including multi-array circuits. The signal combining and distribution network apparatus includes multi-array circuits each including a plurality of oscillators, and 2-terminal networks a arranged between the oscillators and including a slow wave structure or a coupled line filter, and 2-terminal networks c arranged between the multi-array circuits and including a slow wave structure or a coupled line filter.

Multi-element resonator
A resonant tank includes a first capacitor formed on a semiconductor substrate, a first inductor formed on the semiconductor substrate, a second capacitor formed on the semiconductor substrate, and a second inductor formed on the semiconductor substrate. The first capacitor, the first inductor, the second capacitor, and the second inductor are connected in a ring configuration, with each capacitor connected between a pair of the inductors and with each inductor connected between a pair of the capacitors. An amplifier circuit is coupled to the resonant tank and configured to amplify a signal in the resonant tank.
SERIES OF COUPLED SYNCHRONOUS OSCILLATORS
An integrated circuit includes at least two identical, synchronous and independent oscillator circuits that are coupled one to one in parallel with each other at homologous oscillating nodes of the respective oscillator circuits. The coupling in parallel is made using at least one coupling track that is configured so as to not introduce any phase shift or to introduce a very small phase shift.
SOLID STATE MICROWAVE GENERATOR
An apparatus includes a spin torque oscillator, a sensor, and a processing unit. The spin torque oscillator is configured to receive a current and to generate a microwave output signal. The sensor is configured to detect the microwave output signal and to detect changes to frequency of the detected microwave output signal responsive to changes in an external magnetic field. The processing unit is configured to receive a sensed signal from the sensor. The processing unit is further configured to process the sensed signal and the changes to the frequency to determine magnitude and direction associated with the external magnetic field.
SOLID STATE MICROWAVE GENERATOR
A spin torque oscillation generator includes a spin reference layer and a spin oscillation layer. The spin reference layer has a first magnetization direction. The spin reference layer is configured to receive a current and generate a spin-polarized current. The spin oscillation layer has a second magnetization direction. The second magnetization direction is different than the first magnetization direction. The spin oscillation layer is configured to receive the spin-polarized current from the spin reference layer. The spin-polarized current generates a spin torque based on the second magnetization direction of the spin oscillation layer. The spin torque generates a spin torque output signal.
HIGH-THROUGHPUT MULTIPLEXED RECORDING
In some embodiments, there is provided an apparatus including a common bus and a plurality of oscillatrode circuits coupled to the common bus, the plurality of oscillatrode circuits including a first oscillatrode circuit outputting a first frequency tone when a first input voltage is detected by the first oscillatrode circuit and a second oscillatrode circuit outputting a second frequency tone when a second input voltage is detected by the second oscillatrode circuit, wherein common bus carries the first frequency tone and the second frequency tone at different frequencies in a frequency division multiplex signal. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.
Frequency-tunable nano-oscillator device and computing unit using the same
A nano-oscillator device includes a switching element configured to be switched to an ON state at a threshold voltage or above and switched to an OFF state below a holding voltage; and a load element connected to the switching element in series. In the nano-oscillator device, vibration characteristics are implemented by using a switching element and a load element connected thereto in series. Also, the oscillation frequency of the output waveform of the oscillator may be adjusted in real time according to a gate voltage by using a field effect transistor serving as a load element. Using a synchronization characteristic in which the oscillation frequency and phase are locked with respect to an external input, it is possible to implement a computing system based on a network in which a plurality of oscillator devices are coupled.
