RADIO FREQUENCY PHASE SHIFTER WITH VARIABLE INPUT CAPACITANCE
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a radio frequency phase shifter. An example includes an amplification stage to produce an amplified voltage, the amplification stage having a first amplifier with a first input coupled to a first output of a hybrid coupler and a second amplifier with a complementary second input coupled to a complementary second output of the hybrid coupler. A vector modulation stage coupled to the amplification stage receives the amplified voltage and produces a modulated vector, the vector modulation stage has an in-phase section and a quadrature section to control the phase of the modulated vector in response to a phase control signal. A varactor coupled across the first input and the second input of the amplification stage adjusts the capacitance between the first input and the second input in response to a capacitance control signal.
AMPLIFICATION CIRCUIT
An amplification circuit includes: a power supply terminal that is connected to a power supply; a transistor that has a source terminal, a drain terminal, and a gate terminal to which a high-frequency signal is input; a transistor that has a source terminal that is connected to the drain terminal, a drain terminal that outputs a high-frequency signal, and a gate terminal that is grounded; a capacitor that is serially disposed on a second path that connects the gate terminal and the power supply terminal to each other; and a switch that is serially disposed on a first path or the second path. The drain terminal and the gate terminal are connected to each other via the switch and the capacitor.
TRANSIMPEDANCE AMPLIFIER
A transimpedance amplifier (TIA) for converting an input current at an input node into an output voltage at an output node, the TIA comprising: a first amplifier stage having a first input coupled to the input node and a first output; a feedback path between the first output and the first input; a second amplifier stage in the feedback path having a second input, the second input coupled to the first output of the first amplifier stage; a feedback resistor in the feedback path coupled between an output of the second amplifier stage and first input of the first amplifier stage; and an output stage, comprising: a load resistor coupled between a reference voltage node and a T-coil, the T-coil comprising first and second inductors coupled in series at an inductor node, the T-coil coupled between the first output and the load resistor, the inductor node coupled to the output node of the TIA.
CIRCUIT WHICH REUSES CURRENT TO SYNTHESIZE NEGATIVE IMPEDANCE
A circuit which reuses current to synthesize a negative impedance includes a current source circuit, a differential circuit, and a negative impedance conversion circuit. The current source circuit is arranged to provide at least one predetermined current, wherein the current source circuit has a first connection port and a second connection port, and the first connection port of the current source is coupled to a first reference voltage. The differential circuit is coupled between the second connection port of the current source circuit and a second reference voltage, and is arranged to receive a differential input pair and generate a differential output pair, wherein the differential circuit has a differential output port. The negative impedance conversion circuit is coupled between the differential output port and a third reference voltage, wherein the third reference voltage is different from the first reference voltage.

An amplifier includes a first NMOS transistor configured to receive a first input, a second NMOS transistor configured to receive a second input, the second NMOS transistor including a source connected to a source of the first NMOS transistor, a first resistor including a first end connected to a drain of the first NMOS transistor and a second end connected to a first output, a second resistor including a first end connected to a drain of the second NMOS transistor, and a second end connected to a second output, and the amplifier is configured to generate the first output and the second output based on the first input, the second input, a resistance value of the first resistor, and a resistance value of the second resistor.

A Class D amplifier module includes a semiconductor chip and n inductors. The semiconductor chip includes n output stages, n high-side drivers, and n low-side drivers. The semiconductor chip and the n inductors are housed in a single package and operate according to a control signal received from an external processor.
DC-BLOCKING AMPLIFIER WITH ALIASING TONE CANCELLATION CIRCUIT
The present invention provides an amplifier circuit, wherein the amplifier circuit includes an input terminal, a capacitor, an amplifier, a feedback circuit and an aliasing tone cancellation circuit. The input terminal is configured to receive a first input signal. The capacitor is coupled to the input terminal. The amplifier is configured to receive the input signal through the capacitor to generate an output signal. The feedback circuit is coupled between an input node and an output node of the amplifier, and is configured to generate a feedback signal according to the output signal, wherein the feedback circuit includes a storage block including a switched-capacitor. The aliasing tone cancellation circuit is coupled between the input terminal of the amplifier circuit and the input node of the amplifier, and configured to generate a signal to cancel or reduce an aliasing tone of the feedback signal according to the input signal.
Optical receiver and transimpedance amplifier circuit
An optical receiver disclosed includes a bias terminal, an input terminal, a photodiode, an amplifier circuit, a first resistor, a bypass circuit, a filter circuit, and a control circuit. The photodiode receives a bias from the filter circuit through the bias terminal, and outputs a current signal to the amplifier circuit through the input terminal. The amplifier circuit converts an input current to an output voltage. The bypass circuit electrically connected to the input terminal decreases a first input impedance viewed from the input terminal, when activated, and increases the first input impedance, when deactivated. The filter circuit increases a second input impedance viewed from the bias terminal, when a dumping function thereof is activated, and decreases the second input impedance, when the dumping function is deactivated. The control circuit activates the dumping function and the bypass circuit, when the output voltage is larger than a certain voltage.
Method and system for process and temperature compensation in a transimpedance amplifier using a dual replica
The present disclosure provides for process and temperature compensation in a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) using a dual replica via monitoring an output of a first TIA (transimpedance amplifier) and a second TIA; configuring a first gain level of the first TIA based on a feedback resistance and a reference current applied at an input to the first TIA; configuring a second gain level of the second TIA and a third TIA based on a control voltage; and amplifying a received electrical current to generate an output voltage using the third TIA according to the second gain level. In some embodiments, one or both of the second TIA and the third TIA include a configurable feedback impedance used in compensating for changes in the second gain level due to a temperature of the respective second or third TIA via the configurable feedback impedance of the respective second or third TIA.

Provided are an input matching circuit, at least one amplifying transistor that receives a signal from the input matching circuit, a first dummy transistor that receives a signal from the input matching circuit, a second dummy transistor that receives a signal from the input matching circuit, and an output matching circuit that outputs an output of the amplifying transistor, the amplifying transistor being arranged between the first dummy transistor and the second dummy transistor, the amplifying transistor, the first dummy transistor, and the second dummy transistor being provided in a row along the input matching circuit.
