A sensor is provided with a conductor layer, a sensor layer including a plurality of sensor units, and a separating layer which separates the conductor layer from the sensor layer, the sensor unit is formed of alternately arranged first and second electrode elements, and sensitivity on an outer periphery of the sensor unit is higher than the sensitivity in a central portion of the sensor unit.
KEYSWITCH WITH ADJUSTABLE TACTILE FEEDBACK AND SWITCH THEREOF
A keyswitch includes a base having a pillar, a cap having a rib and movable relative to the base, a sleeve rotatably sleeving the pillar and having first and second top surfaces and convex and concave portions, an elastic member abutting against the sleeve and the base, and a resilient arm abutting against a first or second position on the convex portion with rotation of the sleeve. When the resilient arm abuts against the first position, the rib abuts against the first top surface to prepress the elastic member for generating a first preload. When the cap is pressed for moving the sleeve downward, the resilient arm moves from the first or second position to the concave portion. When the resilient arm abuts against the second position, the rib abuts against the second top surface to prepress the elastic member for generating a second preload larger than the first preload.

Rotary Actuator Assembly
A rotary actuator assembly includes a rotary actuator having a rotary body on a capacitively-sensing detection surface of the touch panel. A sensor ring coupled to the rotary body includes on a first ring surface includes alternately arranged contact surfaces and insulating surfaces and on a second ring surface includes a circumferential metal surface that is electrically connected to the contact surfaces. A sliding contact includes a contact pad and a contact spring connected together. The contact pad forms an electrical contact point fixed at a position of the detection surface. The contact spring contacts the contact surfaces and the insulating surfaces in alternation as the sensor ring rotates with rotation of the rotary body whereby a variable electrical signal is generated at the contact point. The electrical signal is detectable by the touch panel and the touch panel includes a mutual capacitance touch sensor assembly.
On/off detection device and vehicle interior component
An ON/OFF detection device is configured to detect ON/OFF of an input unit using a load sensor, and includes a threshold setting unit, a comparison unit, and an ON/OFF determination unit. The threshold setting unit is configured to set a threshold value with respect to a previous detection value of the load sensor. The comparison unit is configured to compare the threshold value and a current detection value. The ON/OFF determination unit is configured to determine ON/OFF of the input unit based on a comparison result. When a previous determination result of the ON/OFF determination unit is ON, the threshold setting unit is configured to set the threshold value to be lower than the previous detection value. When the previous determination result of the ON/OFF determination unit is OFF, the threshold setting unit is configured to set the threshold value to be higher than the previous detection value.
SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED HAPTIC EXCITER
A switch assembly that provides haptic feedback includes a printed circuit board (PCB) having a first planar surface that faces in a first direction and a second planar surface that faces in a second direction, the second direction being opposite from the first direction, a touch plate having a first surface that faces in the first direction and a second surface that faces in the second direction, wherein the first surface of the touch plate is proximate the second planar surface of the PCB, and a haptic exciter that has a conductive coil of wire having a hollow inner core and a magnet that is at least partially disposed within the hollow inner core of the coil of wire such that the magnet alternatively moves in the first and second directions as an alternating current passes through the conductive coil of wire.
