RECONFIGURABLE WALL PANELS
Reinforced panels include a layer of glass joined to a substrate to support the glass. Connectors are joined to the side of the substrate opposite the glass to enable the reinforced panel to be configured with and/or attached to a modular wall system. The glass can be backpainted prior to joining to the substrate, and/or a film can be included in the reinforced tile disposed between the glass panel and the substrate. A reinforced panel includes a conductive material disposed between a glass layer and a substrate to form a touch-responsive section. One or more intermediate layers disposed between the glass layer and the substrate are included. The one or more intermediate layers have sufficient elastic deformability so as to enable the reinforced panel to tolerate differences in thermal expansion between the substrate and the glass layer without resulting in cracking of the glass layer.

OPERATING UNIT FOR A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
An operating unit for a domestic appliance has a touch-sensitive unit and an LED unit positioned on the rear thereof. The touch-sensitive unit is formed with a diffuser foil which has a top side, facing an operator, provided with a printed character layer and an underside, directed away therefrom, provided with a printed functional layer. This leads to a simpler structure of the operating unit with a smaller number of components, which permits a cost-optimized manufacturing process, and also a higher display contrast with the simultaneous reduction of undesirable reflection effects.
Integrated capacitor and antenna
According to one example of the disclosure, a device comprises an antenna, a capacitor including a first plate having a first voltage, and the antenna having a second voltage, and sensing circuitry coupled to the first plate and configured to apply the first voltage to the first plate, determine a capacitance between the first plate and the antenna, and identify, based on the capacitance, a capacitive touch input.
Playback Device with Conforming Capacitive Touch Sensor Assembly
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to playback devices having a non-flat surface and comprising a flexible electronic assembly conforming to that surface. The flexible electronic assembly may include (i) a flexible substrate having a first portion and a second portion, (ii) an array of capacitive touch sensor electrodes arranged on the first portion, and (iii) a plurality of conductors that are electrically coupled to the array of capacitive touch sensor electrodes and that extend onto the second portion. The first portion may include a plurality of cutouts. Each cutout of a first subset of the plurality of cutouts may be positioned between a respective set of two or more electrodes in the array of capacitive touch sensor electrodes. Each cutout of a second subset of the plurality of cutouts may be configured to reduce a wrinkling of the first portion when conforming the first portion to the non-flat surface.

An electronic device including: a housing; a sensor module disposed on an inner face of the housing and including a plurality of sensing units; and a processor positioned within the housing and electrically connected to the sensor module. Each of the plurality of sensing units is electrically connected to another sensing unit adjacent thereto among the plurality of sensing units, and includes a central portion and a plurality of peripheral portions connected to a partial area of the central portion and arranged around the central portion, and each of the central portion and the plurality of peripheral portions includes a touch sensor. In addition to this, various embodiments understood through this document are possible.
Capacitive sensor
A capacitive sensor including a substrate, detection and drive electrodes, and a controller. The substrate includes one or a plurality of insulating layers including first and second faces. The detection electrode includes mutually electrically connected detection lines arrayed at spaced intervals on the first face. The drive electrode includes mutually electrically connected drive lines each arranged on the first or second face and located between adjacent two of the detection lines. When a target approaches the detection electrode being charged and discharged by the controller, the approach causes a change in a first capacitance between the detection electrode and the target. When a target approaches the detection and drive electrodes while the controller is supplying drive pulses to the drive electrode, the approach causes a change in a second capacitance between the detection electrode and the drive electrode. The controller detects the target referring to changes in the first and second capacitances.
