Control system for vehicle interior
A control system for a vehicle interior comprising a control element for a user to interact with is provided. The control element may comprise a sensing electrode configured to provide one or more electrical signals and a non-conductive cover material provided on or over the sensing electrode. The sensing electrode may be formed of or comprise a conductive plastic. The non-conductive cover material may be formed of or comprise a non-conductive plastic. The non-conductive cover material may be or comprise an outer layer, over-layer or skin of the control element. The non-conductive cover material may provide one or more touch interactive surfaces of the control element.
SINGLE BUTTON CAPACITIVE USER INTERFACE
Provided is a refrigeration appliance including a storage compartment, a user interface controller, and a user interface arranged in the storage compartment. The user interface is a stacked arrangement including a sensor assembly carrier, a graphic overlay, a light guide, and a printed circuit board (PCB) with a user interface controller and a self-capacitive electrode sensor. The main controller receives a signal from the user interface with self-capacitive electrode sensor and adjusts the temperature of the storage compartment based on the signal from the self-capacitive electrode sensor. A method controlling a refrigeration appliance with a stacked user interface is also provided.
Compact home assistant having touch sensitive housing
Techniques and apparatuses are described that implement touch sensors and electronic devices including touch sensors. In some implementations, the touch sensor includes a sensing portion and a contact portion extending from the sensing portion. While the sensing portion is configured to be placed in proximity to an interior surface of a housing of an electronic device to detect a touch on the housing, the contact portion is bent to electrically couple the sensing portion to a circuit board via two distinct electrical paths.
COMPACT HOME ASSISTANT DEVICE
Various arrangements of electronic devices, such as assistant devices, are detailed herein. Such a device can include a housing and a microphone. A microphone aperture can be defined by the housing that directs sound from outside the housing to the microphone. A cover, which can be fabric, can be attached with the outside of the housing. An adhesive ring on the housing around the microphone aperture can be used to attach the cover to the housing.

A control device which allows an operator/user to follow the user's anatomical movement by following natural hand rotation, includes two independent detection sensors or sensor portions embedded in two different parts of the device, one in a fixed part and one in a mobile or rotative part, with resistance to mutual disturbance between the two. The device includes a knob portion rotatable about an axis of rotation, at least one sensor configured to sense a rotational position of the knob in relation to the axis of rotation, circuitry adapted to at least provide electrical power to the rotative knob portion, circuitry adapted to transmit the sensed rotational position of the knob, and a base portion rotatably coupled to the knob portion.

A portable electronic device includes a housing, a user input unit configured to detect touch input and push input, and a carrier, on which the user input unit is seated and which is inserted into the housing, wherein the user input unit includes a first input unit, closely disposed on an inner surface of the housing so as to detect touch input, and a second input unit, disposed inside the first input unit in the state of overlapping the first input unit so as to detect push input, the second input unit including a metal spring that changes in shape in response to the push input. The portable electronic device is capable of detecting two types of input and thus of ensuring that is possible to input a sufficient number of user instructions.
Appliance interface and input chassis
An appliance, including an interface and input chassis is provided. Appliance may include a contact plate, a conductive spring, and a support wall. The input chassis may define a connection aperture extending therethrough. The contact plate may be disposed above the connection aperture of the input chassis. The contact plate may include a top surface facing away from the input chassis and a bottom surface facing toward the input chassis. The conductive spring may be coupled the contact plate at the bottom surface of the contact plate. The conductive spring may extend through the connection aperture. The support wall may be attached to the input chassis and disposed about the conductive spring between the contact plate and the connection aperture of the input chassis.

The present invention relates to a household appliance (1) comprising a control panel (2) having an area (A) designated thereon which provides the user to select the desired program parameters by touching, a board holder (3) situated behind the control panel (2), a circuit board (4) situated in the board holder (3), at least one touch button (7) having at least one spring (5) one end of which is fixed to the circuit board (4) and which transmits to the circuit board (4) the capacitive difference that is formed when the designated area (A) is touched and having a plate (6) which is fixed to the free end of the spring (5) so as to contact the control panel (2), and a cover (8) mounted onto the circuit holder (3) and providing the circuit board (4) to be fixed in the board holder (3). The household appliance further comprises a first element (9) that is situated on the cover (8) and that extends outwards from the cover (8) in parallel to the spring (5), and a guide (11) that provides the cover (8) to be fixed on the board holder (3) by being mounted onto the cover (8) and that has a second element (10) that forms a housing (Y) surrounding the spring (5) by joining with the first element (9) when mounted onto the cover (8).
Actuating mechanism and waterproof case comprising the same
The actuating mechanism provided by the present invention is used for actuating a capacitive touch screen of the digital products installed in a waterproof case, comprising an actuating assembly provided on the waterproof case; a probe connected to one end of the actuating assembly; a conductive connecting device provided on the waterproof case, and the probe is brought into contact with the conductive connecting device by the actuating assembly; and a trigger assembly provided on the capacitive touch screen and brought into contact with the touch screen, wherein the trigger assembly is connected with the conductive connecting device and is moved up and down by the actuating assembly, so that the probe and the conductive connecting device are brought into contact to complete the charge conduction. The actuating mechanism of the present invention can improve the drawbacks of the prior art, operating on any area of the touch screen at any position of the waterproof case, thereby operating the digital products. At the same time, it is possible to prevent the actuating mechanism on the waterproof case from blocking the graphic characters displayed on the touch screen. In addition, the trigger assembly is in continuous contact with the capacitive touch screen, with constant pressure, good conduction and stable work. The present invention also discloses a waterproof case based on the actuating mechanism.
