TIME INTERLEAVER, TIME DEINTERLEAVER, TIME INTERLEAVING METHOD, AND TIME DEINTERLEAVING METHOD
A convolutional interleaver included in a time interleaver, which performs convolutional interleaving includes: a first switch that switches a connection destination of an input of the convolutional interleaver to one end of one of a plurality of branches; a FIFO memories provided in some of the plurality of branches except one branch, wherein a number of FIFO memories is different among the plurality of branches; and a second switch that switches a connection destination of an output of the convolutional interleaver to another end of one of the plurality of branches. The first and second switches switch the connection destination when the plurality of cells as many as the codewords per frame have passed, by switching a corresponding branch of the connection destination sequentially and repeatedly among the plurality of branches.

Virtual network pre-arbitration for deadlock avoidance and enhanced performance
A device includes a data path, a first interface configured to receive a first memory access request from a first peripheral device, and a second interface configured to receive a second memory access request from a second peripheral device. The device further includes an arbiter circuit configured to, in a first clock cycle, a pre-arbitration winner between a first memory access request and a second memory access request based on a first number of credits allocated to a first destination device and a second number of credits allocated to a second destination device. The arbiter circuit is further configured to, in a second clock cycle select a final arbitration winner from among the pre-arbitration winner and a subsequent memory access request based on a comparison of a priority of the pre-arbitration winner and a priority of the subsequent memory access request.
ADAPTIVE CREDIT-BASED REPLENISHMENT THRESHOLD USED FOR TRANSACTION ARBITRATION IN A SYSTEM THAT SUPPORTS MULTIPLE LEVELS OF CREDIT EXPENDITURE
A device includes an arbiter circuit configured to receive a first request for a resource. The first request is associated with a first credit cost. The arbiter circuit is further configured to receive a second request for the resource. The second request is associated with a second credit cost. The arbiter circuit is further configured to select the first request for the resource as an arbitration winner. The arbiter circuit is further configured to decrement a number of available credits associated with the resource by the first credit cost. The arbiter circuit is further configured to, in response to the number of available credits associated with the resource falling to a lower credit threshold, wait until the number of available credits associated with the resource reaches an upper credit threshold to select an additional arbitration winner for the resource.
Tone interleaving methods for multi-bands and wide bandwidth transmissions in WLAN
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for tone interleaving wide channel bandwidths or transmissions using multiple-bands. Embodiments of the present invention are designed to accommodate new generations of WLAN. According to some embodiments, existing communication standards of the current generations of WLAN are used to simplify the implementation of the tone mapping schemes described herein. For example, some embodiments of the present invention use an 80 MHz channel bandwidth with resource units having 996 tones as a building block to efficiently implement new tone mapping and interleaving schemes for wider bandwidth channels.
System, method, and apparatus for interleaving data
A method, system, and apparatus for interleaving data including creating a buffer, writing input data, and reading output data out of the buffer.
Tile based interleaving and de-interleaving for digital signal processing
Tile based interleaving and de-interleaving of row-column interleaved data is described. In one example, the de-interleaving is divided into two memory transfer stages, the first from an on-chip memory to a DRAM and the second from the DRAM to an on-chip memory. Each stage operates on part of a row-column interleaved block of data and re-orders the data items, such that the output of the second stage comprises de-interleaved data. In the first stage, data items are read from the on-chip memory according to a non-linear sequence of memory read addresses and written to the DRAM. In the second stage, data items are read from the DRAM according to bursts of linear address sequences which make efficient use of the DRAM interface and written back to on-chip memory according to a non-linear sequence of memory write addresses.
