ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRONIC COMPONENT ACCOMMODATION BOX
An attachment structure for an electronic component accommodation box including a vibration proof structure includes a damping structure between a vehicle body side attachment member and a casing in which at least one electronic component is mounted. The damping structure includes first sliding portions, second sliding portions, and damping members interposed between the first sliding portions and the second sliding portions. The damping members generate sliding resistance between each of the first sliding portions and each of the second sliding portions when the casing moves relative to the vehicle body side attachment member.
Unique word and burst header detection for an expanded frequency range
Various data transmission detection systems are described. A receiver input through which a wireless data transmission signal is received may be present. A plurality of mixers in communication with the receiver input may be present, which may be digitally implemented. A data transmission detector may be present that receives a mixed wireless data transmission signal from each mixer and creates a plurality of scores. A match detection module may be present that receives the scores and identifies a highest score. The signal mapped to the highest score to be selected for further processing.
Antenna Assembly For A Vehicle
An antenna assembly comprising a base, a modem, a top lid and a housing is disclosed herein. The base is composed of an aluminum material. The modem is disposed on the base. The top lid is for the base, and the top lid comprises at least one antenna element disposed on an exterior surface. The housing covers the top lid and base. The top lid acts as an electro-magnetic barrier for the modem. A communication cable is connected to the modem at one end and extending to and connected to a vehicle internal router with a vehicle modem at the other end.
METHOD FOR RECEIVING BROADCAST RADIO SIGNALS IN A VEHICLE, AND BROADCAST RADIO RECEIVER
A method for receiving broadcast radio signals in a vehicle, particularly in a motor vehicle, and a broadcast radio receiver that is set up to perform the method are described. The method involves multiple reception paths of a broadcast radio receiver being available in order to receive and computationally process broadcast radio signals separately from one another. In addition, the method involves multiple reproduction appliances being connectable to one or more respective reception paths in order to reproduce received broadcast radio signals, wherein multiple reception paths can be combined for a reproduction appliance in order to improve the reception quality. Provision is additionally made for the speed of the vehicle to be ascertained and for the number of reception paths that are combined for a reproduction appliance to be prescribed on the basis of the speed of the vehicle.
Mounts Platform for Multiple Military Radios
A platform for a military radio with a vehicle adapter amplifier has been developed. The apparatus includes a base for supporting an AN/PRC-117G Man Pack radio in combination with a SINCGARS RT-1523 radio, a for electrically connecting with the AN/PRC-117G Man Pack radio and the SINCGARS RT-1523 radio, and a vehicular power supply system.
Electronic shifting systems and methods
A wireless control system for a bicycle, comprising a first shift control unit for a component of a bicycle, the first control unit comprising a radio configured to receive control signals, wirelessly transmitted by a second control unit of the bicycle; the radio operable to receive the control signals only when the radio is operating in a listen mode; and a processor configured to: activate the listen mode of the radio for a first length of time; detect, with the radio, a noise level during the first length of time; and extend the activation of the listen mode for a first extended time period when the noise level achieves a noise level threshold.
Receiving arrangement of a motor vehicle
A receiving arrangement of a motor vehicle has a first antenna array disposed at or on the body of the motor vehicle, and having a second antenna array disposed on a window pane of the motor vehicle. The antenna arrays are coupled to a receiving unit for further processing, in particular, for the demodulation and/or decoding of a respective received signal of the antenna arrays. The receiving unit is directly connected with the first and the second antenna array. The receiving unit, during operation, causes a conversion of a respective received analog signal of the antenna arrays to a respective loss-free transportable digital signal, which the receiving unit provides to a control unit of the receiving unit for further processing.

Vehicle entertainment tablet unit and cradle
A vehicle entertainment system includes a tablet unit and a cradle. The tablet unit includes a display and a touch screen input device disposed on a front surface, a first electrical connection, a first mounting mechanism, and a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver is configured to receive media data from a wireless network and the touch screen input device is configured to receive input from a user. The cradle is disposed in a headrest in a vehicle and includes a second electrical connection and a second mounting mechanism. The tablet unit is electrically connected to the cradle via the first and second electrical connections, and is physically coupled to the cradle via the first and second mounting mechanisms upon mounting the tablet unit to the cradle.
Mechanism for moveable telematics services
A telematics control unit in a vehicle, comprising a processor configured to send to a telematics server account data of a cellular account of a driver of the vehicle and a request to affiliate the account data with the telematics control unit, and in response to sending a request to the server to bridge an incoming call to a virtual number of the driver, output the bridged call using a computer system of the vehicle.
