METHOD FOR DETECTING AND ATTENUATING THE IMPACT OF INTERFERENCE IN A SIGNAL OF A RADIO RECEIVER WITH MULTIPLE TUNERS
A method for detecting and attenuating the impact of interference in a signal of a radio receiver with multiple tuners. The method includes providing a first input signal RF.sub.1 to a first tuner T.sub.1; simultaneously providing a second input signal RF.sub.2 to a second tuner T.sub.2; simultaneously producing a first intermediate high injection signal IFH.sub.1, by the first tuner T.sub.1, using the first input signal RF.sub.1 filtered on a first frequency f.sub.E, and a first intermediate low injection signal IFB.sub.2, by the second tuner T.sub.2, using the second input signal RF.sub.2 filtered on the first frequency f.sub.E; comparing the first intermediate high injection signal IFH.sub.1 and the first intermediate low injection signal IFB.sub.2; selecting one out of the first intermediate high injection signal IFH.sub.1 and the first intermediate low injection signal IFB.sub.2 to be decoded by the radio receiver.
Vehicle with speaker for outputting virtual engine sound and controlling method thereof
A vehicle and a controlling method of the same include a speaker outputting virtual engine sound integrated with a head lamp. The vehicle includes the head lamp; a head lamp case in which the head lamp is provided; and a speaker for outputting a virtual engine sound, and provided inside the head lamp case, where an internal cross-sectional area of the head lamp case may increase in a direction toward a front of the vehicle based on a position where the speaker is provided.
MOBILE CONVERSION APPARATUS FOR DOCKING CELLULAR DATA DEVICES
A mobile conversion apparatus for docking cellular data devices including push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) devices. The apparatus includes a Universal Serial Bus Type-C (USB-C) connection. The conversion apparatus is designed and configured to couple the PoC device to a mobile communications interface within a vehicle using the USB-C connection. The PoC device is horizontally insertable into the conversion apparatus exposing only the top of the PoC device leaving only the display and knob of the PoC device exposed on the face of the conversion apparatus. In this manner, the conversion apparatus effectively docks the PoC device, thereby connecting the two together via the USB-C connection.
Antenna assembly for a vehicle
An antenna assembly comprising a base, a modem, a top lid and a housing is disclosed herein. The base is composed of an aluminum material. The modem is disposed on the base. The top lid is for the base, and the top lid comprises at least one antenna element disposed on an exterior surface. The housing covers the top lid and base. The top lid acts as an electro-magnetic barrier for the modem. A communication cable is connected to the modem at one end and extending to and connected to a vehicle internal router with a vehicle modem at the other end.
Method and apparatus for determining location information of signal source using unmanned aerial vehicle
Disclosed is a method of determining location information of a signal source. A method of determining location information of a signal source by using an unmanned aerial vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes determining, at a first location, first location information and first posture information of the unmanned aerial vehicle provided with a linear array antenna; determining, at the first location, a first measurement azimuth between the signal source and the linear array antenna; determining, at least one second location, at least one second location information and at least one second posture information of the unmanned aerial vehicle having the linear array antenna; determining, at the at least one second location, at least one second measurement azimuth between the signal source and the linear array antenna; and predicting the location information of the signal source using the information described above.
Rear glass
A rear glass according to the present invention is a rear glass that is attachable to a resin lift-up back door in a rear of a vehicle, the rear glass including a glass plate, a defogger that is arranged in the vicinity of a center of the glass plate in an up-down direction, and an AM antenna that is arranged upward of the defogger on the glass plate, in which the AM antenna includes a power supply part and an antenna element that extends from the power supply part.
Audio output system for a vehicle
An audio output system for a vehicle. The audio output system includes a volume setting device for setting a volume of an audio signal, an audio input for an audio input signal from an audio source, a warning tone device for providing a warning tone signal, an audio-level measuring device for measuring the audio level at the audio input, and a control unit. The audio-level measuring device is configured to limit the maximum audio level of the audio input signal to a predefined first threshold value as a function of the set volume. The control unit is configured to control an audio output signal on the basis of the warning tone signal, the audio input signal and the set volume, and to output an audible or visual notification if the audio input signal present at the audio input has no audio level.
METHOD OF PAIRING A SENSOR NODE FOR A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SYSTEM USING AN ASSISTING DEVICE, AN ASSISTING DEVICE FOR PAIRING A SENSOR NODE AND A PAIRING SYSTEM FOR A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
A method of pairing a sensor node of a transport refrigeration system with a coordinator node using an assisting device in a communication network is provided, the method includes: the assisting device obtains identification information of the sensor node; the assisting device connects with the coordinator node; the assisting device transmits the identification information of the sensor node to the coordinator node for the coordinator node to pair with the sensor node; the assisting device receives pairing status of the sensor node and the coordinator node; and the assisting device indicates the pairing status.
Lightweight electronic device for automotive applications and method
A lightweight radio/CD player for vehicular application is virtually “fastenerless” and includes a case and frontal interface formed of polymer based material that is molded to provide details to accept audio devices such as playback mechanisms (if desired) and radio receivers, as well as the circuit boards required for electrical control and display. The case and frontal interface are of composite structure, including an insert molded electrically conductive wire mesh screen that has been pre-formed to contour with the molding operation. The wire mesh provides EMC, RFI, BCI and ESD shielding and grounding of the circuit boards via exposed wire mesh pads and adjacent ground clips. The major components and subassemblies self-interconnect by integral guide and connection features effecting “slide lock” and “snap lock” self-interconnection. The major components and subassemblies self-ground by establishing an interference fit with exposed, resilient, embossed portions of wire mesh.
