Decentralized computing networks, architectures and techniques for processing events across multiple channels
This disclosure relates to decentralized computing networks, architectures and techniques for collecting, analyzing, and processing data over multiple channels. A decentralized computing network comprises a plurality of computing nodes, each of which is dedicated to analyzing and processing events for a particular channel corresponding to a geographic region. Each node of the decentralized computing network can operate independently to process channel analysis data for a corresponding channel. The decentralized configuration of the nodes enables efficient processing of data collected over large geographic areas, increases the reliability of the system, and facilitates easy scaling of the system. Other embodiments are disclosed herein as well.
System, method and apparatus for subscriber user interfaces
Methods, apparatus, and systems manage use of shared network resources among subscribers to a data communication service. In some implementations, a first metric is computed representing a subscriber's use of the shared network resources. A second metric may also be computed that represents the amount of network congestion of the shared network resources. Data derived from the first metric and the second metric may then be presented to the subscriber. The data may be transmitted to the subscriber over a network and/or the data may be displayed to the subscriber on an electronic display.

Behavior monitoring and compliance for multi-tenant resources
The behavior of multiple users with access to a multi-tenant resource can be monitored and compliance enforced by monitoring state information for each user. The state information can be captured across a level of a network environment, such that any activity across that layer can be monitored and the data aggregated to give a global view of user behavior. If user behavior is determined to fall outside an acceptable range of behavior, any of a number of remedial actions can be taken, which can include notifying the user, billing the user for the inappropriate behavior, or modifying that behavior outside of the control of the user.
System, method, and computer program for transmitting network communications at a point in time automatically determined based on communication rates
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for transmitting network communications at a point in time automatically determined based on communication rates. In use, a communication to be transmitted over a network is identified, utilizing a device. Additionally, a point in time at which to transmit the communication over the network is automatically determined by the device, utilizing at least one rate for the communication. Further, transmission of the communication over the network is initiated at the determined point in time, utilizing the device.
CONNECTED VEHICLE BANDWIDTH-BASED NETWORK SELECTION
Generally described, one or more aspects of the present application correspond to techniques for dynamic management of the network used for data transfer between a connected vehicle and a remote computing system. For example, during navigation a connected vehicle may switch between connections to a number of different networks, and the pricing of these networks may be periodically recalculated based on current network load. The disclosed techniques can select from among available networks to dynamically optimize the cost of data transfer, even as a vehicle navigates through different networks and as network pricing is changed.
System and method for deferred delivery of content based on congestion in a network environment
A method is provided in one example embodiment and may include receiving congestion information for an environment in which a user equipment (UE) is operating; receiving a first request to deliver content to the UE; determining that the environment in which the UE is operating is experiencing congestion based, at least in part, on the congestion information; determining a re-try interval based, at least in part, on the congestion information; and deferring delivery of the content to the UE until the re-try interval has expired. In one example embodiment, the method can include provisioning one or more policy rules for a service data flow associated with the content and communicating the indication indicating that delivery of the content has been deferred to a charging system to set charging information for at least one of a user associated with the UE or a provider of the content.

Method for operating a wireless device in a cellular network
The present invention relates to a method for operating a wireless device in a cellular network, the wireless device operating with a base node of the cellular network, the method comprises upon noticing a barring indication received from the base node at the wireless device the step of suppressing access to the base node under the conditions: the wireless device is operating in an intensive use mode and the wireless device is operating in a non-privileged service.
