This application provides an audio output method and a terminal device. The method helps to reduce the operation complexity of a user, improve a degree of intelligence of the terminal device, and finally improve the user experience. The method includes that: a second terminal device may send an audio output request to a first terminal device, and a user may operate the first terminal device or an audio output device connected to the first terminal device, to trigger the second terminal device to obtain audio data corresponding to the audio output request. When the audio output device is a wireless audio output device, the second terminal device may establish a communication link with the wireless audio output device, to control the wireless audio output device to output a first audio signal corresponding to the audio data; and when the audio output device is a wired audio output device, the first terminal device may obtain audio data from the second terminal device, to control the audio output device connected to the first terminal device to output a first audio signal corresponding to the audio data.

The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer-readable medium for providing audio announcement of communications to a called party in a communication network. The method includes receiving communication from a calling party and performing a lookup of information relating to the calling party in a database via an Internet Protocol connection based on an identifier of at least one of the calling party and the called party. The information comprises one or more audio files. The method then provides the audio announcement to a called party based on the audio files.

The technology disclosed herein enables narration of occurrences in a telecommunications soft client operating in a GUI-less mode. In a particular embodiment, a method includes, in a user system, operating the telecommunications soft client in a first mode. In the first mode, the user system does not present a GUI to a user for the telecommunications soft client. A screen reader application is also executing on the user system. While in the first mode, the method includes audibly describing a first occurrence for the telecommunications soft client and receiving global user input into the telecommunications soft client. The screen reader application describes a second occurrence for a first application executing, and displaying an application window, on the user system.

The subject disclosure describes monitoring when a headset is in communication with a mobile communication device, detecting the headset, comparing a name of a caller and a telephone number of the caller against a list of names and telephone numbers previously stored in a memory, determining that the name of the caller or the telephone number of the caller matches one of the names and telephone numbers in the list, determining that the one of the names and telephone numbers is associated with a pre-recorded message that the user previously recorded and stored in the memory, retrieving the pre-recorded message, and performing a text-to-speech conversion on the name and telephone number of the caller to generate a synthesized speech signal spoken text message and sending the synthesized speech signal and the pre-recorded message to the headset. An operation method for a mobile electronic device is provided. The operation method includes: transmitting a calling phone number to a wireless audio product from an operation system of the mobile electronic device via wireless communication, wherein the mobile electronic device is wirelessly connected to the wireless audio product; transmitting the calling phone number to an application software of the mobile electronic device by the wireless audio product; searching a caller name corresponding to the calling phone number by the application software of the mobile electronic device; transmitting the caller name to the wireless audio product by the application software of the mobile electronic device via wireless communication; and playing the caller name by the wireless audio product.

Integration of VoIP phone services with Intelligent Cloud Voice Recognition for emergency services overcomes limitations of conventional residential telephone technology to inexpensively provide more useful and advanced residential telephone services.
