Enhanced caller information

Various media or other related information may be provided during a call between a calling device and a called device. One example method of operation may include initiating a call via an origination device to a recipient device, transmitting a call notification to an enhanced information server responsive to initiating the call, retrieving enhanced information associated with the intended recipient device and/or the origination device, transmitting the enhanced information to the intended recipient device and/or the origination device, and connecting the call between the origination device and the intended recipient device.

Call Collision Processing Method for Terminal Device, and Terminal Device
20180013888 · 2018-01-11 ·

The present disclosure relates to a call collision processing method for a terminal device, and a terminal device. A state machine records that a current state of the terminal device is an incoming call state, an outgoing call state, or an idle state. When the terminal device is in the idle state, that the terminal device processes an incoming call or an outgoing call is determined according to occupation of the state machine by incoming call information or by outgoing call information, and a state of the state machine after the state machine is occupied by the incoming call or the outgoing call is protected by using a mutex lock.

METHOD FOR MULTI-CHANNEL AUDIO SYNCHRONIZATION FOR TASK AUTOMATION
20230004731 · 2023-01-05 · ·

A method for coordinating actions between an audio channel and a synchronized non-audio channel includes receiving an indication of a start of a session associated with a user and having an audio channel that is synchronized with a non-audio channel. Thereafter, repeated determinations are made as to whether a prompt on the non-audio channel has been received from the user. In response to each determination that the prompt on the non-audio channel has not been received from the user, a signal is sent to cause an inaudible output on the audio channel to the user. In response to a determination that the prompt on the non-audio channel has been received from the user, an audible output is selected based on an activity by the user on the non-audio channel, and a signal is sent to cause the audible output to be output on the audio channel.

PROACTIVE AUDIO OPTIMIZATION FOR CONFERENCES
20220417364 · 2022-12-29 ·

In one embodiment, a device obtains audio data from one or more past conferences. A prediction model that predicts when participants of a conference will speak is generated based on the audio data from the one or more past conferences. The device uses the prediction model to predict a speech distribution for participants of a particular conference. Then, the device proactively optimizes audio parameters of the particular conference based on its predicted speech distribution.

Described herein is a methods and systems for providing a digital interactive experience. Interactive experiences include, but not limited to, synchronized video playback, video and text chat between two or more participants, and interactive live event participation combining synchronized video, text and video chatting. The system comprises persistent and non-persistent components to which a plurality of participants in the interactive experience may connect.

Communication device and methods for use by hearing impaired

A method for maintaining contact information in a hearing impaired assisted user's communication device includes the steps of (a) providing a web site for altering assisted user contact information, (b) linking a proxy device to the web site, (c) receiving an identifier associated with the assisted user's device via the proxy device, (d) identifying an assisted user's device via the received identifier, (e) enabling the proxy device to be used to modify contact information for the assisted user associated with the received identifier, (f) starting a timer to time out a sync timeout period, (g) during the sync timeout period, receiving an indication via the assisted user's device confirming a desire to update the assisted user's contact information, (h) updating the assisted user's contact information, and (i) at the end of the timeout period, ceasing an indication that updated data is ready to be used from the assisted user's device.

Automated Recording Highlights For Conferences

A transcript of a conference (e.g., a video conference, an audio conference, or a telephone call with two or more participants) is processed to extract a conference summary. Scores are determined for strings of the transcript that are used to select strings for inclusion in the conference summary. Determining the scores includes determining respective sentence vectors for strings. A sentence vector has elements corresponding to words in the transcript that are proportional to occurrences of the word in the string and inversely proportional to occurrences of the word in the transcript. A short video conference summary or a short audio conference summary is then generated using timestamps from the transcript associated with strings (e.g., sentences) that have been selected for inclusion in the conference summary. The short video or audio summary may be presented to users to enable efficient storage and transmission of conference information within a unified communications system.

Video conference system

A video conference system including a transmitter device and a receiver device is provided. The transmitter device includes a transmitter control unit, a transmitter input interface, a transmitter video circuit and a first wireless transmission module. The transmitter control unit is coupled to a video output port of an information system and receive a first video data from the video output port. The transmitter input interface receives a second video data from a first video source. The transmitter video circuit combines the first video data and the second video data as a combined video data. The first wireless transmission module transmits the combined video data to the receiver device. The receiver device, coupled to the display device, includes a second wireless transmission module, which receives the combined video data. The receiver device transmits the combined video data to the display device.

Presentation of communications

A method to present communications is provided. The method may include obtaining, at a device, a request from a user to play back a stored message that includes audio. In response to obtaining the request, the method may include directing the audio of the message to a transcription system from the device. In these and other embodiments, the transcription system may be configured to generate text that is a transcription of the audio in real-time. The method may further include obtaining, at the device, the text from the transcription system and presenting, by the device, the text generated by the transcription system in real-time. In response to obtaining the text from the transcription system, the method may also include presenting, by the device, the audio such that the text as presented is substantially aligned with the audio.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A communication system includes a management system connected to plural mobile communication terminals through wireless communication and configured to broadcast utterance voice data received from one of the mobile communication terminals to the other mobile communication terminals, to chronologically accumulate the result of utterance voice recognition from voice recognition processing on the received utterance voice data as a user-to-user communication history, and to control text delivery such that the communication history is displayed on the mobile communication terminals in synchronization. Each mobile communication terminal is configured to store notification setting information including a keyword and a predetermined notification function associated with the keyword and provided for the mobile communication terminal, to reproduce the received utterance voice data, display the result of utterance voice recognition, and perform operation control for the notification function associated with the keyword included in the result of utterance voice recognition.
