POST-CONFERENCE PLAYBACK SYSTEM HAVING HIGHER PERCEIVED QUALITY THAN ORIGINALLY HEARD IN THE CONFERENCE

Some aspects of the present disclosure involve the recording, processing and playback of audio data corresponding to conferences, such as teleconferences. In some teleconference implementations, the audio experience heard when a recording of the conference is played back may be substantially different from the audio experience of an individual conference participant during the original teleconference. In some implementations, the recorded audio data may include at least some audio data that was not available during the teleconference. In some examples, the spatial characteristics of the played-back audio data may be different from that of the audio heard by participants of the teleconference.

Volume leveler controller and controlling method

Volume leveler controller and controlling method are disclosed. In one embodiment, A volume leveler controller includes an audio content classifier for identifying the content type of an audio signal in real time; and an adjusting unit for adjusting a volume leveler in a continuous manner based on the content type as identified. The adjusting unit may configured to positively correlate the dynamic gain of the volume leveler with informative content types of the audio signal, and negatively correlate the dynamic gain of the volume leveler with interfering content types of the audio signal.

Development of voice and other interaction applications

Among other things, a developer of an interaction application for an enterprise can create items of content to be provided to an assistant platform for use in responses to requests of end-users. The developer can deploy the interaction application using defined items of content and an available general interaction model including intents and sample utterances having slots. The developer can deploy the interaction application without requiring the developer to formulate any of the intents, sample utterances, or slots of the general interaction model.

Telecommunication call management and monitoring system with voiceprint verification
11496621 · 2022-11-08 · ·

Disclosed is a secure telephone call management system for authenticating users of a telephone system in an institutional facility. Authentication of the users is accomplished by using a personal identification number, preferably in conjunction with speaker independent voice recognition and speaker dependent voice identification. When a user first enters the system, the user speaks his or her name which is used as a sample voice print. During each subsequent use of the system, the user is required to speak his or her name. Voice identification software is used to verify that the provided speech matches the sample voice print. The secure system includes accounting software to limit access based on funds in a user's account or other related limitations. Management software implements widespread or local changes to the system and can modify or set any number of user account parameters.

A method to present communications is provided. The method may include obtaining, at a device, a request from a user to play back a stored message that includes audio. In response to obtaining the request, the method may include directing the audio of the message to a transcription system from the device. In these and other embodiments, the transcription system may be configured to generate text that is a transcription of the audio in real-time. The method may further include obtaining, at the device, the text from the transcription system and presenting, by the device, the text generated by the transcription system in real-time. In response to obtaining the text from the transcription system, the method may also include presenting, by the device, the audio such that the text as presented is substantially aligned with the audio.

Generative voice for automated bot handoff to customer service representative

A system and method for applying a generative voice associated with a particular customer service representative to an automated bot that initially interacts with a customer to provide a seamless handoff between the automated bot and the particular customer service representative is described. In one embodiment, when a call from a customer is received at the customer service call center, the customer is matched with a potential customer service representative that is likely to handle the customer's call. The customer will then initially interact with an automated bot that has applied a generative voice associated with the likely customer service representative. The customer can talk with the automated bot using the generative voice and, if needed, when the call is handed off from the automated bot to the customer service representative, the customer will not notice a change in voice or other discontinuity on the call.
