SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING VPN-LESS SESSION SETUP FOR CONNECTING MOBILE DATA DEVICES TO AN ENTERPRISE DATA NETWORK
20180014240 · 2018-01-11 ·

A mobile application gateway configured to interconnect mobile communication devices on a cellular network with an enterprise network is provided. The mobile application gateway includes a voice and data signaling gateway configured to provide routing functionalities, service functionalities and admission control. A gateway GPRS support node (GGSN) is configured to establish a secure data session between one or more of the mobile communication devices and the enterprise network by establishing a GPRS tunneling protocol (GTP) tunnel between a carrier-hosted serving GPRS support node (SGSN) and the GGSN.

MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREFOR

An operation method for a mobile electronic device is provided. The operation method includes: transmitting a calling phone number to a wireless audio product from an operation system of the mobile electronic device via wireless communication, wherein the mobile electronic device is wirelessly connected to the wireless audio product; transmitting the calling phone number to an application software of the mobile electronic device by the wireless audio product; searching a caller name corresponding to the calling phone number by the application software of the mobile electronic device; transmitting the caller name to the wireless audio product by the application software of the mobile electronic device via wireless communication; and playing the caller name by the wireless audio product.

SUBJECT LINE FOR INCOMING CALLS WITHIN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK SERVICES
20180013887 · 2018-01-11 ·

Calls, e.g., voice calls (telephone calls) and video calls, made within a wireless communication network include a subject line that may or may not be included with an identification of the party making the call. Thus, when a user within the wireless communication network receives a call on a mobile device, prior to answering the call, a subject of the call is displayed to the user or audibly provided to the user. The subject of a call may be automatically provided to the user. In embodiments, a prompt may be required from the user in order to display or hear the subject of the incoming call.

PROVIDING ENHANCED CALL CONTENT

One example may include receiving a message with call data for a future call between a calling party and a called party, identifying a profile identifier from the call data identifying an enhanced call information profile associated with the calling party, and creating a call message header with a code object having the enhanced call information to include with a call message when placing the future call.

Call content management for mobile devices

One example method of operation may include identifying a plurality of mobile device telephone numbers associated with a plurality of mobile devices, forwarding the plurality of mobile device telephone numbers to a content delivery device, hashing the plurality of mobile device telephone numbers, storing the hashed plurality of mobile device telephone numbers in the content delivery device, identifying a scheduled call campaign to the plurality of mobile devices, forwarding call content associated with schedule call campaign to the plurality of mobile devices prior to calling the plurality of mobile devices, and responsive to receiving confirmation that the content was successfully forwarded to the plurality of mobile devices, initiating a calling device to begin calling the plurality of mobile devices.

Enhanced incoming call notifications

Methods and systems are provided for providing enhanced incoming call notifications for users who utilized a relay application designed for those with speech, visual, or hearing impairments or disabilities. An indication that a calling party is attempting to initiate an incoming call intended for a receiving party that utilizes a relay application that assists users having hearing, visual, or speech disabilities is received by an intermediate party. A chat session is established utilizing the relay application between the intermediate party and the calling party. Additionally, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) session is established that does not include a voice session. Upon the chat session being terminated from within the relay application, the VoIP session is terminated.

911 Call Enhancement

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing enhanced 911 call functionalities. In various embodiments, in response to receiving a 911 call request from a caller using a calling device associated with an originating telephone number (“TN”), a computing system may determine whether a user profile associated with the caller and/or the originating TN contains registered third parties on a 911 call notification list. Based on a determination that the user profile contains at least one registered third party on the 911 call notification list associated with the caller and/or the originating TN, the computing system may send a message to each of the at least one registered third party indicating that the caller has called 911, and/or may establish a listen-in only bridged connection, a full bridge connection, or a shared communication to the 911 call for each registered third party.

Automated call requests with status updates

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, relating to synthetic call status updates. In some implementations, a method includes determining, by a task manager module, that a triggering event has occurred to provide a current status of a user call request. The method may then determine, by the task manager module, the current status of the user call request. A representation of the current status of the user call request is generated. Then, the generated representation of the current status of the user call request is provided to the user.

Multicast task assignment

A server transmits a task to client devices using push-to-talk (PTT). The server receives a response accepting the task from a device of the client devices. The server assigns the task to a user of the device. The server transmits an indication that the task was assigned to the user of the device to at least a subset of the client devices.

Enriched calling based call routing

Systems, methods and apparatuses for implementing enriched calling services for devices may include a first User Equipment (UE) that sends a call request to an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Core network and a presence server. The IMS core network may determine that the first UE supports enriched calling services and may enable the first UE to perform an enriched calling operation. The IMS core network may forward the call request to a terminating device, such as a second UE and/or a computing device, with the enriched calling operation.
