NETWORK EXCEPTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PACKET-SWITCHED TELEPHONY
20220256039 · 2022-08-11 ·

Asynchronous and/or synchronous telephony protocol systems and methods may include an asynchronous signaling node (ASN) and/or a call duration time quota from a charging onset to place and complete a call based on a first device call request as received from a first user mobile device on a packet switched network. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the telephony address with a prefix and destination address when the first device has insufficient or independent balance or upon a network exception; route the modified call signal to the ASN; and deliver and automatically disconnect the call when the call is completed. The synchronous systems are balance-independent and include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon such exception, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user telephony device when the call is completed or when the call duration time quota is exceeded.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING LOCALIZED EMERGENCY WARNINGS

An emergency determining system configured as part of a cellular or mobile network to receive emergency data from public safety answering points and to evaluate the emergency based at least in part on third party data, network data, and the emergency data. For instance, the emergency determining system may determine a level, a geographic area, and/or a response to the emergency and to broadcast, via the cellular or mobile network, notifications to individual's personal electronic devices within the geographic area to alert the individuals to the emergency and to provide instructions related to an appropriate response by the individual.

Smart voice system, method of adjusting output voice and computer readable memory medium

A smart voice system is disclosed. The smart voice system includes a data receiving module, a voice message receiving module, a voice response module and a voice message output module. The data receiving module receives a hearing evaluation data of a user, and acquiring a hearing parameter according to the hearing evaluation data. The voice message receiving module receives a voice message inputted by the user. The voice response module acquires a response voice message corresponding to the voice message and the frequency of the response voice message is adjusted according to the hearing parameter. The voice message output module outputs the response voice message.

Managing Telephone Based Channel Communication In A Group-Based Communication System

Techniques for facilitating messaging in a group-based communication system between a calling device and one or more client devices. A first user operating a calling device may send a request to a call server computing device to send a call-based communication via the group-based communication system. The call-based communication may include voice or textual data. The call server computing device may receive the call-based communication and may format the call-based communication to send to the group-based communication system. The call server may send the formatted call-based communication to the group-based communication system for presentation via the one or more client devices.

PERSONAL EMERGENCY TRIGGERING, NOTIFICATION AND COMMUNICATION FOR SMARTWATCHES
20200404090 · 2020-12-24 ·

A personal safety service notifies a pre-defined group of emergency contacts about an occurrence of emergency associated with a user. To do so, a personal safety service server comprising a processing device and a memory receives an indication of the emergency and a location of the emergency from a wearable mobile device and sends a notification message via a push notification displayed on user devices of a predefined group of emergency contacts indicating the occurrence of the emergency. The personal safety service server periodically receives updates to the location of the wearable mobile device from the personal safety service client application.

A wearable mobile device executes a personal safety service client application to detect activation of a periodic safety confirmation mode, wherein the activation is detected from a first user input received by the wearable mobile device, receive, from a personal safety service server, a request for safety confirmation, and detect a safety confirmation event, wherein the safety confirmation event is detected from a second user input received by the wearable mobile device. The personal safety service client application is further to provide an indication of the safety confirmation event to the personal safety service server, wherein the personal safety service server is configured to send a notification message via a push notification displayed on user devices of a predefined group of emergency contacts indicating the occurrence of an emergency if the indication of the safety confirmation event is not received within a first pre-defined time interval and periodically receive additional requests for safety confirmation, wherein each additional request for safety confirmation is received after a second pre-defined time interval has passed.

METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY PLAYING A VOICE MESSAGE, AND SMART PHONE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT IMPLEMENTING THE SAME

A method of automatically playing a voice message is proposed to be implemented by a smartphone that executes an instant communication software program. The method includes: opening, by the smartphone, a chat window for communication between a user of the smartphone and a chatting target; and upon determining that there is at least one voice message not having been played before in the chat window and, based on a signal provided by a proximity sensor near a receiver of the smartphone, that there is an object close to the receiver, automatically and audibly outputting the at least one voice message using the receiver.

SUPPRESSING MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS

One or more computer processors receive a message, with a message device, from a server, wherein the message device and at least one other nearby message device belong to a shared chat group. The one or more computer processors, responsive to determining that the at least one other nearby message device has received and emitted a notification associated with the message, suppress the notification associated with the message.
