A transmission management apparatus manages transmission states of a plurality of transmission terminals including a first transmission terminal and a second transmission terminal. The apparatus includes a terminal management table storage unit configured to store therein a terminal management table in which terminal information including an identifier and an identification name of each transmission terminal is managed; a receiving unit configured to receive a terminal information request signal from the first transmission terminal, the terminal information request signal indicating a request for information for identifying the second transmission terminal, the first and second transmission terminals being in transmission therebetween; a terminal state acquisition unit configured to acquire the information for identifying the second transmission terminal from the terminal management table in response to the terminal information request signal; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the information acquired by the terminal state acquisition unit to the first transmission terminal.

SPATIAL AUDIO CONVERSATIONAL ANALYSIS FOR ENHANCED CONVERSATION DISCOVERY

Systems and methods for providing enhanced teleconferencing. An example method includes receiving audio streams from a plurality of client devices of participants of a teleconference; converting the audio streams for a first conversation within the teleconference into first text; converting the audio streams for a second conversation within the teleconference into a second text; analyzing the first text to identify one or more topics being discussed in the first conversation; analyzing the second text to identify one or more topics being discussed in the second conversation; and presenting, in a teleconference user interface, at least one of the one or more topics being discussed in the first conversation or the one or more topics being discussed in the second conversation.

MACHINE-LEARNING-MODEL BASED NAME PRONUNCIATION

A computer-implemented conferencing method is disclosed. A conference session between a user and one or more other conference participants is initiated via a computer conference application. An attribute-specific pronunciation of the user's name is determined via one or more attribute-specific-pronunciation machine-learning models previously trained based at least on one or more attributes of the one or more other conference participants. The attribute-specific pronunciation of the user's name is compared to a preferred pronunciation of the user's name via computer-pronunciation-comparison logic. Based on the attribute-specific pronunciation of the user's name being inconsistent with the preferred pronunciation of the user's name, a pronunciation learning protocol is automatically executed to convey, via the computer conference application, the preferred pronunciation of the user's name to the one or more other conference participants.

DYNAMIC NOTIFICATION TONE MODIFICATION

A computer-implemented method for real-time modification of notification tones to distinguish an intended recipient of a notification tone is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes monitoring an audio stream of an online conference for one or more audio notification tones. The computer-implemented method further includes detecting that a notification tone generated outside of the online conference matches the notification tone of an application or user device associated with two or more participants of the online conference. The computer-implemented method further includes responsive to detecting that the notification tone matches the notification tone of an application or user device associated with two or more participants of the online conference, generating an ameliorative action associated with the notification tone.

OVERLAYING AN IMAGE OF A CONFERENCE CALL PARTICIPANT WITH A SHARED DOCUMENT
20220374190 · 2022-11-24 ·

Systems and methods for overlaying an image of a conference call participant with a shared document are provided. A request is received to initiate a document sharing operation to share a document displayed via a first graphical user interface (GUI) on a first client device associated with a first participant of a conference call with a second participant of the conference call via a second GUI on a second client device. Image data corresponding to a view of the first participant in a surrounding environment is also received. An image depicting the first participant is obtained based on the received image data. One or more regions of the document that satisfy one or more image placement criteria are identified. The document and the image depicting the first participant are provided for presentation via the second GUI on the second client device. The image depicting the first participant is presented at a region of the identified one of more regions of the document.

Custom communication actions based on environment analysis
11502862 · 2022-11-15 · ·

According to one embodiment, facilitating communications through a communication device can comprise monitoring, by the communication device, one or more environmental sensors of the communication device including at least one sensor collecting biometric information. A presence of one or more people can be detected by the communication device based on the monitoring or the one or more environmental sensors and the detected one or more people can be identified by the communication device based at least in part on input from the one or more environmental sensors. One or more possible actions related to communications through the communication device can be determined by the communication device based on the identified one or more people. A user interface including a prompt for at least one of the determined one or more possible actions related to communications through the communication device can then be provided.

REGISTRATION AND MODE SWITCHING FOR DEVICES IN A DISTRIBUTED AUDIO SYSTEM

Technologies are described for a distributed audio system configured to switch operating modes. In some examples, the distributed audio system may include a device configured to execute first instructions from a first memory corresponding to operation in a first mode, receive a signal to switch modes, and, responsive to receiving the signal, switch a select signal corresponding to the first memory to select a second memory. Responsive to selecting the second memory, the device may be configured to execute second instructions from the second memory corresponding to operation in a second mode. The device may enter a registration mode to register portable parts to the device.

Conference service number system

A conference service number system enables the reconfiguration of an existing telephone number as a service number usable for selectively routing calls to each of a client endpoint and a dedicated conference software instance. A conferencing system implements separate conferencing software instances for individual operators for whom unique telephone numbers, are assigned. A telephony system facilitates calls to and from telephone numbers and implements a menu system (e.g. an interactive voice response (IVR) menu) for presenting a caller with options to either route a call to a specific telephone number to the subject operator (e.g., to a client device of that operator) or to a conferencing software instance implemented specifically for that operator. The call is accordingly routed to either a device of the operator or to the conferencing software instance based on the selection by the caller.
