Voicemail transcription delivery
11564067 · 2023-01-24 · ·

A voicemail service node of a carrier network may configure a voicemail profile for a subscriber to provide voicemail transcription delivery. For example, a voicemail service node may receive, from a voicemail client on a user device, a request to activate delivery of voicemail transcription for the user device via the voicemail client. The voicemail service node may determine device configuration information for delivery of voicemail transcription, determine, based on the device configuration information and the activation request, a delivery configuration for delivery of voicemail transcription via the voicemail client using a set of one or more modes of delivery of voicemail transcription, and configure the voicemail profile associated with the user device to cause delivery of voicemail transcription to the user device using the set of one or more modes of delivery of voicemail transcription.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING HIGH EFFICIENCY, BIDIRECTIONAL MESSAGING FOR LOW LATENCY APPLICATIONS

A system and a method for routing a message to an application over a connection oriented session in a Kafka messaging platform environment are provided. The method includes: acquiring a plurality of partitions from the Kafka messaging platform; designating a first partition from among the plurality of partitions as a sticky partition; generating a plurality of routing keys that are configured to route to the sticky partition; receiving a subscription from a service that corresponds to a first application; transmitting, to the first application, a first routing key that identifies the subscription from among the plurality of routing keys; and receiving messages from Kafka services that are routed by the first routing key to the first application. For any particular application or set of applications, a plurality of connection oriented sessions may be used to achieve load balancing and high availability.

Indicating number sources used to define a whitelist for a smartphone-based robocall blocking process
11496899 · 2022-11-08 · ·

A call blocking module in a smartphone is configured to generate a whitelist stored in the smartphone, the whitelist comprising a calling party number (“CPN”) using various number sources, such as a contact list, outgoing call list, or incoming call list. As each number source is modified with a new CPN, the whitelist may also be augmented automatically, or based upon a confirmation from a user of the smartphone. A contact center originating voice calls to the smartphone may be configured to generate a text call to the smartphone in order to populate the whitelist with the CPN that will be used when originating a subsequent voice call to the smartphone. Thus, the contact center can originate a text call to the smartphone to potentially increase the likelihood that a subsequent voice call will be passed by the whitelist.

Identifying and processing, for priority, calls in data communications server
11611654 · 2023-03-21 · ·

Apparatuses and methods concerning routing and processing of calls in a server are disclosed, and involving a processing circuit communicatively coupled to a server that routes calls (e.g., data communications) for a plurality of end-users and generates call event messages for the routed calls. The processing circuit generates call summary data and evaluates the call summary data to identify a set of incoming calls to the server that were missed and have not been returned by the end-users. Certain of the calls are checked relative to a secondary data source and respective priorities for the set of incoming calls are ascribed for further processing, and some having a higher priority.

Apparatus, methods, and systems for data mining user information

.[.Anonymous voice communication between a first station and a second station is fascilitated by providing an interface that allows input of a transaction specification from at least one of the first and second stations. A reference code associated with the transaction is generated, there being a defined relationship between the reference code and the address of the second station for voice communication. The reference code is supplied to the first station, and a voice communication request and the reference code are recieved from the first station. The reference code is used to recover said address and a channel for voice communication is opened between said first and second stations. Voice communication can thereby be established between the first and second stations without providing the address of the second station to the first station. .]. .Iadd.An Internet based service system may include one or more servers, software, or storage units for use in data mining user information. The disclosed service may facilitate users posting information, connecting to other users, and making transactions over the Internet. Data from each transaction submitted through the service are data mined. The collected data may include personal information, private data, interest, intellectual property, and the like. For increasing transactions, the service system may create a proposed transaction specification specifying a transaction between a first party and a second party based, at least in part, on data mining user information. Feed a reference code associated with a second party to a first party, and receive a communication request from the first party employing the reference code. The reference code may include tagged photo, advertisement etc. The service may also provide private user information to other parties. .Iaddend.

Conferencing and meeting implementations with advanced features

Meeting and conferencing systems and methods are implemented in a variety of manners. Consistent with one embodiment of the present disclosure, an audio conference system includes communications circuitry and a caller interface, each associated with setting up or managing the audio conference. Menu options may be provided to validate or authenticate incoming telephony calls. In response to a selection of the menu options, an incoming telephony call may be prompted to select a callback number, and then the system monitors for a trigger event. A participant is contacted in response to detecting the trigger event, and the contacted participant is then placed into the audio conference.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING DYNAMIC MULTI-MODAL COMMUNICATION

A method includes receiving a first request associated with a first user account and comprising content of a first message and a first plurality of destination endpoints, and a second request associated with a second user account and comprising content of a second message and a second plurality of destination endpoints to receive the second message, generating a first list of routing options for delivering the first message to the first plurality of destination endpoints, and a second list of routing options for delivering the second message to the second plurality of destination endpoints, generating, based on the first list of routing options, one or more versions of the first message for delivery to the first plurality of endpoints, and generating, based on the second list of routing options, one or more versions of the second message for delivery to the second plurality of endpoints. The method further includes causing the one or more versions of the first message to be transmitted to the first plurality of destination endpoints, and the one or more versions of the second message to be transmitted to the second plurality of destination endpoints, and providing first access rate statistics collected by tracking access to the one or more versions of the first message by the first plurality of destination endpoints, and second access rate statistics collected by tracking access to the one or more versions of the second message by the second plurality of destination endpoints.

Forecasting and scheduling campaigns involving different channels of communication

Various embodiments of the invention provide methods, systems, and computer program products for generating a roster template used in scheduling agent resources to conduct a first campaign and a second campaign involving two different channels of communication. Specifically, forecasts are generated for the first and second campaigns and agent resources needed to handle communications forecasted for each campaign are identified. A roster template is generated that includes one or more shifts to schedule based on the agent resources identified for the first campaign and evaluated to identify whether a deficiency exists with respect to the one or more shifts not meeting the agent resources identified for the second campaign. If so, the one or more shifts are revised so as not to cause a second deficiency with respect to the first campaign.

Message routing

Methods, devices, signals, and systems are provided in a message routing architecture which provides improved capabilities for integrating “digital” communication through email messages with “analog” communication through voice and/or fax or pager messages. Email can be addressed using nothing more than a standard telephone or fax number. If the registered owner of the telephone or fax number has a corresponding email address, then the invention converts the telephone or fax number to the email address for delivery and uses standard email delivery systems to deliver the message. If no conventional delivery email address is known, or if the message sender or recipient specify multiple delivery modes, then the email message content is transformed into voice, pager and/or fax content and delivered to the recipient using the telephone or fax number which was specified as the email address. Familiar telecommunications services such as call forwarding and selective call blocking can also be used with messages that originate as email. The invention also supports use of telecommunications numbers as indexes into databases which contain public key certificates, to make it unnecessary for a proposed message recipient to provide its public key expressly in advance to each particular proposed message originator.
