The image forming apparatus includes an identification unit configured to identify a capability of a wireless LAN chip connected to the image forming apparatus, a reception unit configured to receive an instruction to import a setting value, a determination unit configured to determine whether the wireless LAN chip connected to the image forming apparatus is operable at the setting value based on the identified capability, and a reflection unit configured to reflect the setting value for the wireless LAN chip connected to the image forming apparatus in a case where it is determined that the wireless LAN chip connected to the image forming apparatus is operable at the setting value.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANAGING MULTIPLE SCAN REQUESTS
The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for managing multiple scan requests received at a multi-function device. The method includes receiving a scan request from a remote computing device of a remote user. Before executing the scan request, two conditions are checked. It is checked if document is present on a scanning platform of the multi-function device and further it is checked if one or more activities on a user interface of the multi-function device, are being performed. Based on the presence of the document on the scanning platform and the one or more activities on the user interface, the scan request received from the remote user is disallowed. This way, multiple scanned requests are managed at the multi-function device.

A system and method for minimizing customer churn in device service businesses commences with execution of a customer service contract. Ongoing customer data capture is made for each contract. Machine learning is applied to captured customer data, which machine learning is based on a state of customer data at the time of contract determination. Customer data is assigned weights, and aggregate data for each customer is compared to a preselected threshold level. Customers above a threshold are deemed happy and customers below the threshold are deemed to be at risk. Remedial measures relative to at risk customer data generates remedial measure suggestions.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an image calibration method, an image forming apparatus, and a storage medium. The method includes outputting a calibration image in response to a calibration instruction, where the calibration image includes a calibration pattern and a calibration mark; according to the calibration mark of the calibration image, determining whether a calibration event corresponding to the calibration image matches a calibration event corresponding to a current calibration operation, or determining whether a calibration event type corresponding to the calibration image matches a calibration event type corresponding to a current calibration operation; and performing image calibration according to the calibration pattern in the calibration image if the calibration event corresponding to the calibration image matches the calibration event corresponding to the current calibration operation, or if the calibration event type corresponding to the calibration image matches the calibration event type corresponding to the current calibration operation.

An image forming apparatus prints an image on a sheet. The image forming apparatus includes a casing, a plurality of open/close devices, a plurality of fans, and a control device. The casing includes a plurality of openings and a plurality of ventilation holes. The plurality of open/close devices are attached to the casing, and configured to open and close the respectively corresponding openings. The plurality of fans each generate an airflow from inside of the casing to a corresponding one of the plurality of ventilation holes. The control device controls operation of the plurality of fans. The control device also detects occurrence of an event that restricts execution of the printing, identifies a type of the event, selects at least one of the plurality of fans according to the type of the event, and drives the selected fan.

In this case, the controller accumulates the value of at least one parameter since the previous screen cleanup and, in accordance with the accumulated value of the parameter, reducing the degree of visibility of display content displayed on the screen.
