When the state identification terminal detects that the external device that receives the power via the power input/output terminal is coupled, and the printing section performs printing, an amount of power supplied to the external device is large in a case in which a drive rate of the plurality of printing elements is low as compared with a case in which the drive rate of the plurality of printing elements is high.

This application discloses a system for recording medical image data for production on a portable digital recording medium such as CDs and DVDs. Aspects of this disclosure include a robotic disc burning system that can receive a request for medical imaging data generated by an imaging modality and record all of the following onto an optical disc that is removable from the robotic disc burning system: the medical imaging data, data that is related to the medical imaging data, and a viewing program configured to allow viewing by a general purpose computer of the medical imaging data that is recorded on the disc. The system includes, among other components, a labeling module configured to produce a label on the optical disc without manual application of the label onto the optical disc. According to an aspect of the disclosure, an information processing apparatus comprising a communication circuit and a control circuit is provided. The control circuit transmits reduced image data of captured image data, to a first external apparatus through the communication circuit; receives, from the first external apparatus, a result of evaluation processing applied to the reduced image data; on the basis of the result of the evaluation processing, determines whether to apply image processing to the captured image data corresponding to the reduced image data, by a second external apparatus; transmits the captured image data that is determined to be applied the image processing, to the second external apparatus through the communication circuit; and receives, from the second external apparatus, a result of the image processing applied to the captured image data.

An image compression method includes: starting a social media application to enter an interface for inputting a to-be-posted content; when an operation for adding an image is detected, displaying a first image in the interface; and when an operation for posting the first image is detected, in response to the operation, performing differential compression on the first image to obtain a second image, and sending the second image to a server corresponding to the social application. The controller, when a specific area that matches a specific condition is present in a first image, stores, in a storing area, information that is based on the specific area, generates an identification code that includes access information for accessing the stored information that is based on the specific area, and outputs a second image where the specific area of the first image is replaced with an image that includes the identification code.
