The connection establisher establishes continuous connection with a communication device. The first transmission request receiver receives a first transmission request t for displaying a setting screen corresponding to a first type of service. In response to the first transmission request being received from the external device, the first determiner determine whether a second type of service is currently provided. The first screen data transmitter transmits first screen data for displaying a first setting screen to the external device in response to the first determiner determining that the second type of service is not currently provided. The first disconnector disconnects the continuous connection in response to selection of a disconnection button included in the first setting screen displayed on the external device.

A medium transportation device includes a supply roller configured to send a medium downstream, at least one stopper configured to be switched between a blocking state in which the at least one stopper blocks the transportation path and an open state in which the at least one stopper opens the transportation path, and a controller configured to perform skew correction control in which a leading edge of the medium is brought in contact with the at least one stopper in the blocking state to correct skew of the medium. The controller is configured to obtain information about a stiffness of the medium and, when a second medium having a lower stiffness than a first medium is transported, the controller switches the at least one stopper from the blocking state to the open state to end the skew correction control earlier than the skew correction control of the first medium.

In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the external device, and prints an image based on the selected image data. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed by a first communication system method or a second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.

The image processing system further selects a folder setting method in a case where an operation key for setting a folder of the user as a destination of image data is operated, sets the folder according to the selected folder setting method in response to the operation of the operation key, and sends the image data to the set folder as the destination.

An image forming apparatus includes a main body unit, an operation unit, and a support unit. A container includes a support member that rotates into contact with and moves away from a lower part of the upper module. The container configured to receive and store the paper that has been drawn back by the discharge unit. The information processing device comprising a controller that is configured to download, from the storage device, an instruction template including a plurality of pieces of processing instruction information for instructing a plurality of pieces of processing to be executed by the information processing device, create an update template in which each of the plurality of pieces of processing instruction information in the instruction template is replaced with a corresponding piece of a plurality of pieces of processing notification information to be notified to the management device and upload the update template to the storage device.

An image forming apparatus includes a controller configured to perform a storage printing process that includes storing print data in a dedicated memory, which is a portable memory set as a storage destination to store the print data in the storage printing process when attached to a dedicated port among a plurality of ports, and causing a print engine to perform printing according to the print data stored in the dedicated memory in response to an operation received via a user interface, prior to the storage printing process, set one of the plurality of ports as the dedicated port, in response to a portable memory being attached to a port, determine whether the portable memory is the dedicated memory and the port is the dedicated port, and provide a notification when determining that the portable memory is not the dedicated memory but the port is the dedicated port.
