A printing apparatus capable of conveying sheets to a sheet processing apparatus and to control the type of a sheet to be used as a cover sheet in a case where a book bound product is generated by switching back sheets each having an image printed, inverting the sheets and folding the inverted sheets, and to notify an error to a user based on the type of a sheet to be used as the cover sheet in a case where printing an image on the cover sheet is designated.

A first inspection apparatus registers an image scanned from a print product printed by a first printing apparatus as a first reference image, and registers information of a print job related to printing of the image with the image and first configuration information indicating configuration of the first printing apparatus. It is possible to continue printing processing without suspension even in the case where print data is not prepared in time in continuous printing that is performed by continuously feeding sheets. An image forming apparatus includes: a generation unit configured to generate image data based on a print job; a determination unit configured to determine whether image data corresponding to a sheet passing a predetermined location of a conveyance path through which sheets are conveyed is prepared in time; and a control unit configured to perform, in the case where the determination unit determines that image data is not prepared in time, control to leave the sheet as a blank sheet by skipping processing to form an image for the sheet, and the control unit changes a printing order determined in advance in the case where the determination unit determines that image data is not prepared in time.

In an image forming system, a hardware processor controls whether the first sheet is conveyed to an upstream side of the image former via a first conveying path which reverses sides of the first sheet or via a second conveying path which does not reverse the sides of the first sheet as well as the first conveying path, when images are formed on both sides of a plurality of the first sheets by the image former, in order to narrow a space between a plurality of the first sheets.

A control apparatus comprises: a grouping unit that divides a plurality of sheets each associated with image data included in a processing target job into groups each having a predetermined size; and a control unit that controls feeding of a sheet from a feeding unit onto a conveyance path and refeeding of a sheet which has been conveyed on the conveyance path onto the conveyance path, wherein the predetermined size is not less than a maximum sheet size used in the processing target job, a plurality of groups can be conveyed on the conveyance path, and the control unit controls feeding and refeeding for each group grouped in the grouping unit.

A printing apparatus that is capable of executing, based on printing data, printing onto a first side of a printing medium and printing onto a second side, which is the back side of the first side, after the printing onto the first side is provided. A print density of a predetermined region at a rear end of the printing medium in a transporting direction at a time of printing of the first side is identified based on the printing data. Conversion data, which is a conversion coefficient to make the identified print density equal to or lower than a predetermined density, is acquired. The printing data is converted by means of the conversion data. Printing onto the first side is executed based on the converted printing data.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to perform a first image forming process and a second image forming process to form an image and a test image on a sheet; a reader, arranged in a conveyance path along which the sheet is conveyed, configured to read the test image on the sheet, the test image being formed by the image forming unit; a member; a controller configured to obtain, from the reader, reading data related to the test image on the sheet.
