Image reading apparatus and image forming system
An image reading apparatus including: a conveyance path; a light transmitting member; a first reading unit; a second reading unit; a first roller disposed opposite to the first reading unit; a second roller disposed opposite to the second reading unit; a holding member configured to hold the first roller and the second roller; a plurality of first abutment portions provided on both end portion sides in a width direction of the first roller and forming a gap between the light transmitting member and the first roller by abutting on the light transmitting member; a plurality of second abutment portions provided on both end portion sides in the width direction of the second roller and forming a gap between the light transmitting member and the second roller by abutting on the light transmitting member; and an urging member urges the holding member against the light transmitting member.
MEDIUM TRANSPORT APPARATUS AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A medium transport apparatus includes a main body that is switchable between a first posture and a second posture and a rotatable route-forming member that forms an exterior of a turning route. The route-forming member couples a first transport route to a second transport route when the main body has the first posture and couples the first transport route to a third transport route when the main body has the second posture. The medium transport apparatus further includes a transport route switching section having a switching member that engages with both the body support and the route-forming member. In response to switching between the first posture and the second posture of the main body, engagement of the switching member with the main-body support changes to rotate the route-forming member and to switch the medium transport route to which the first transport route is coupled.
Image reading apparatus and image reading system
An image reading apparatus includes an output tray that receives a medium which is output thereon; an output roller pair that outputs the medium onto the output tray; an output-tray posture switching portion that switches a posture of the output tray with respect to the apparatus body; and an output-direction switching portion that switches an output direction of the medium by using the output roller pair. The output roller pair includes an output driving roller, and an output driven roller that nips the medium between the output driven roller and the output driving roller and that follows the rotation of the output driving roller. The output-direction switching portion switches the output direction of the medium by displacing a rotation center of the output driven roller around a rotation center of the output driving roller.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
An apparatus body of an image reading apparatus is turnably provided to a body supporting portion. The apparatus body is turned so as to be switchable between a first posture and a second posture that forms an angle between a reading transportation path and a mounting surface being smaller than the corresponding angle formed in the first posture. A transportation path switching unit couples the reading transportation path to a reverse transportation path when the apparatus body takes the first posture, and couples the reading transportation path to a non-reverse transportation path when the apparatus body takes the second posture.
Reading apparatus with a first medium transport path coupled to a second medium transport path and a third medium transport path, where the third medium transport path inclined at an angle smaller than the angle formed by the second medium transport path inclined with the first transport medium path
A reading apparatus includes: a reading section that reads a side of a medium; a first medium transport path that includes a position facing the reading section; a second medium transport path coupled to a medium mounting section and coupled to the first medium transport path, the second medium transport path being inclined at a first angle with respect to the first medium transport path; and a third medium transport path coupled to the first medium transport path, the third medium transport path being inclined at a second angle, which is less than the first angle, with respect to the first medium transport path.
Recording device with front side insertion port
A recording device includes a recording unit configured to perform recording on a recording target medium, a first conveyance path that is a conveyance path of the recording target medium including an opposite position that faces the recording unit, and conveyance of the recording target medium in a first direction, a second conveyance path being coupled to the first conveyance path at a position downstream of the recording unit in the first direction, the second conveyance path being coupled to the first conveyance path also at a position upstream of the recording unit in the first direction and configured for conveyance of the recording target medium to the first conveyance path with a surface of the recording target medium inverted, and an insertion port configured to enable insertion of a recording target medium as an insertion material to the second conveyance path from outside.
Medium-discharging device and image reading apparatus
A medium-discharging device includes: a discharging section that discharges a medium; a stacker that is configured to stack the medium on a mounting surface and, in a closed state, has the mounting surface facing the housing section; and a first stopper and a second stopper that are configured to switch between a regulating state in which the stopper is in contact with a leading end of the medium and a stored state in which the stopper is stored in the stacker, in which the second stopper is provided at a position which is between the discharging section and the first stopper and at which the second stopper faces the recess when the stacker is in the closed state, and at least a portion of the second stopper enters the recess when the second stopper is in the stored state and when the stacker is in the closed state.
READING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING READING DEVICE
A reading device includes a reading unit configured to read a document, and a control unit configured to acquire image data including a document region and a background region from the reading unit. The control unit acquires document information about a document, and sets, based on the document information, a background range indicating a range of a luminance value regarded as the background region.
MULTIFUNCTION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR MULTIFUNCTION APPARATUS
A multifunction apparatus includes a reading mechanism including a document discharge port configured to discharge a document, a recording mechanism including a medium discharge port configured to discharge a recording medium, and a control unit, and a path through which a leading end of the recording medium discharged from the medium discharge port passes and the document discharged from the document discharge port have such a positional relationship to intersect with each other at an intersecting position, and when the leading end of the recording medium is discharged from the medium discharge port in a stop state where the document discharged from the document discharge port blocks the path of the leading end of the recording medium discharged from the medium discharge port, the control unit performs a predetermined operation for canceling the stop state before causing the leading end of the recording medium to reach the intersecting position.
Image Reading Apparatus
A conveying device conveys a sheet selectively along a first conveying path and a second conveying path which are connected at a junction into a common path portion. A reading unit reads an image of a sheet conveyed in the common path portion. A shutter is disposed in the second conveying path at a position upstream of the junction in a sheet conveying direction. The shutter is movable between a first position and a second position. The actuator is disposed in the common path portion and movable between a third position and a fourth position in response to the shutter moving between the first position and the second position, respectively. In a case where a detection sensor detects that the actuator is at the fourth position, a controller controls the conveying device to convey the sheet along the second conveying path.
