READING APPARATUS
A reading apparatus, having a document tray, an ejection tray, a conveyer path connecting the document tray and the ejection tray and having a curved section, a conveyer to convey an original document in a conveying orientation, a first reading sensor, and a second reading sensor, is provided. The first reading sensor is located upstream in the conveying orientation from the curved section in the conveyer path. The first reading sensor optically reads a first side of the original document from below. The second reading sensor is located upstream in the conveying orientation from the first reading sensor in the conveyer path. The second reading sensor optically reads a second side of the original document from below. The first side and the second side are sides of the original document that face upward and downward, respectively, in the state where an original document is placed on the document tray.
Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes a discharging unit that discharges an original document read by a reading unit to a stacker, in which a controller of the image reading apparatus discharges a first original document at a first transporting speed caused when the original document specified from an original document length measured by the measuring unit is the first original document and discharges a second original document at a second transporting speed slower than the first transporting speed caused when the original document is the second original document longer than the first original document.
Document feeder and image forming apparatus
A document feeder includes an input tray (part of a document placing portion) on which a document is placed, an output tray on which the document output from a document output port in an output direction is stacked, and a substrate including a light source that emits light to the output tray. The output tray is disposed below the input tray. The substrate is fixed to the document placing portion at an oblique angle relative to a horizontal reference of the document feeder such that the optical axis of the light source extends toward the document output port.
DOCUMENT FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

The substrate is fixed to the document placing portion at an oblique angle relative to a horizontal reference of the document feeder such that the optical axis of the light source extends toward the document output port.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, TRAY DETERMINATION METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
An image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of trays in which sheets are set; a printer; and a hardware processor that determines a first tray, which is one tray of the plurality of trays, in preference to a second tray, which is another tray of the plurality of trays, among the plurality of trays as a feed source tray feeding the sheets to the printer in a state where first sheets of which types are determined are set in the first tray as the sheets, second sheets of which types are not determined are set in the second tray as the sheets, and both the first and second sheets are capable of satisfying a condition allowing an image to be printed.
Method of printing and scanning
A multifunctional printer having a printer section, an auto document feeder, a scanner section, a print path, and a path guide. When the multifunctional printer is not in a print and scan mode, the path guide can move to a position that routes printed paper from the print path to a print output tray. When the multifunctional printer is not in a print and scan mode, the path guide can move to a position that routes printed paper from the print path to the auto document feeder, where it can be scanned.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING PRINTED PAPER TO A SCANNER IN A MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRINTER
Sheet tray, conveyance unit and image recording apparatus
There is provided a sheet tray including: first, second and third trays. The second tray moves between a first position and a second position in which an overlapping area is smaller than that obtained in the first position. The third tray includes a third support surface and a fourth support surface. The third support surface includes a protrusion which protrudes upward to be positioned above the first support surface in a state that the third tray is in the first pivoting position. The third tray overlaps with the first support surface in a state that the second tray is in the first position and that at least a part, of the third tray, except for the protrusion is positioned below the first support surface, and the third tray does not overlap with the first support surface in a state that the second tray is in the second position.
System and method for conveying printed paper to a scanner in a multifunctional printer
