The designation information acquisition unit acquires designation information indicating a paper feed designation of recording paper and a paper designation from print data that is generated by a printer driver based on the paper feed designation and the paper designation. The paper feed information acquisition unit acquires paper feed information indicating paper information of the recording paper and paper feed configuration of the recording paper mounted on a printing device, from the printing device before the print data is transmitted to the printing device. The designation information changing unit compares the designation information and the paper feed information and changes the designation information when a certain condition is met.

A print control method includes, when a sorting method for sorting printed matters in a printing device is set, displaying an image indicating an output aspect of the printed matters output from the printing device, based on the set sorting method and a previous output aspect of the printing device.

An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to acquire plural scanned images obtained by scanning a bundle of paper media including a plural standard document bundles each of which is a set of a standard document and a related document related to the standard document, extract a title from the plural scanned images, extract, from the plural scanned images, an identifier that is assigned to be common within one standard document bundle and to be different between different standard document bundles, and divide the plural scanned images into bundles such that a scanned image from which the title is extracted is set as a bundle head, scanned images having the same identifier are included in the same bundle, and scanned images having different identifiers are included in different bundles.

In a system that verifies a print detect in a printed sheet, inconsistency between the sheet side at the time of reference image registration and that at the time of verification processing is prevented from occurring without imposing complicated work on a user. An image on a sample sheet is registered in advance as a reference image in association with the sheet side and at the same time, the sheet discharge setting for the sample sheet is stored. Verification is performed by matching the sheet side associated with the reference image and the verification-target side of the printed sheet based on the sheet discharge setting stored as a sheet discharge setting in the print processing.

An image forming system includes: a first storage that stores paper ejected after image formation processing; a second storage that stores the paper transferred from the first storage; a hardware processor that controls an operation of the image forming system; and a notifier that notifies of a state of the image forming system, wherein the hardware processor determines whether the paper remains in the first storage, and allows the notifier to notify that the paper is left untaken based on determination that the paper remains in the first storage.
