An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to display an operation screen for receiving an operation regarding setting information of an image forming apparatus that operates in association with the setting information with optimum values changing depending on external factors on a display device and receive an operation on the operation screen, in which the processor is configured to display a creation screen that is one of the operation screen and is used to newly create the setting information, on the display device, receive an input of a reason for creation of the new setting information on the creation screen and specify an item to be set corresponding to the received reason for creation among setting items in the setting information, and display the specified item on the operation screen to be identifiable with respect to other setting items.

A management system includes a plurality of image forming apparatuses and a management apparatus connectable to a device of each image forming apparatus via a network. The management system includes a detection unit that detects a condition of the image forming apparatus, a storage unit that stores condition information acquired by the detection unit detecting the condition, a transmission unit that transmits the condition information stored in the storage unit to the management apparatus, and a display unit that displays information. The display unit displays, on a same screen, data calculated from pieces of condition information of the plurality of image forming apparatuses transmitted to the management apparatus, and the condition information stored in the storage unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a controller to set one of a first print mode, in which, after starting printing on a first number of sheets per unit time, a printer decreases a number of sheets on which the printer performs printing per unit time from the first number of sheets per unit time so as to avoid a rise in temperature of a fixing device to a predetermined temperature value, and a second print mode. An image forming apparatus that is capable of setting an appropriate print speed according to a printing status. A print mode is selected from a first print mode in which the temperature of a fixing device of the image forming apparatus is adjusted while a print speed is maintained at a constant speed, and a second print mode in which the temperature of the fixing device is adjusted while the print speed is kept higher than the constant speed for a predetermined time period after the start of printing and is decreased as time passes. Printing is performed according to the print mode selected from the first print mode and the second print mode. A display unit of the image forming apparatus is operable by a user and is controlled to display a screen for selecting the first print mode or the second print mode.
