IMAGE READING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
An image reading device according to the present disclosure includes a support plate, a CCD sensor, an insulating member, a CCD mounting board and an elastic member. The CCD sensor is arranged on one surface of the support plate. The insulating member is arranged on the other surface of the support plate. The elastic member fixes the CCD mounting board to the support plate. The elastic member includes: a main body portion; a first arm and a second arm which are bent with respect to the main body portion and which have a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion that are engaged with the edges of the support plate; and a protrusion portion which is provided in the main body portion and which presses the CCD mounting board toward the support plate. The tip end portion of the first arm is bent at an acute angle.
Image Reading Apparatus, Image Reading Method and Image Forming Apparatus Therefor, That Ensure Guiding Reflected Light from Document Having High-Gloss Level to Light Receiving Portion
An image reading apparatus reads an image on a document surface. The image reading apparatus includes a document-supporting unit, a light source, and an image reading unit. The document-supporting unit supports the document and transmits light. The light source, from a direction inclined with respect to a line perpendicular to the document surface, irradiates the document surface with an irradiation beam transmitted through the document-supporting unit. The image reading unit reads the image in accordance with light reflected from the document surface and thereby generates image data. The document-supporting unit enables varying degree that the irradiation beam scatters in passing through the document-supporting unit.
EXPOSURE DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND MULTI-FUNCTION APPARATUS
An exposure device includes: a first light emitting element; a first lens array that converges light emitted from the first light emitting element; a second light emitting element; a second lens array that converges light emitted from the second light emitting element; a holder that holds the first light emitting element, the first lens array, the second light emitting element, and the second lens array; and a first adjustment mechanism that is provided in the holder and adjusts a first distance between the first lens array and the first light emitting element.
Image reading apparatus and image forming apparatus
An image reading apparatus for reading an image of an original includes an illumination portion for illuminating the original with light, a reflection member including a reflecting surface for reflecting the light from the original; a converting portion for photoelectrically converting the light reflected by the reflection member, and a casing for accommodating the reflection member. The casing is provided with an opening which is open to an outside of the casing. A surface of the reflecting member opposite from the reflecting surface and a portion defining the opening are bonded to each other with an adhesive.
IMAGE READING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
One motor is shared for carriage movement and document sheet conveyance. An abutting member stops the carriage, that has moved from a second position located below a first end portion of a platen glass, at a first position located below a contact glass. The carriage supports the motor and first and second main body gears. The main body gears interlock with the motor. A cover input gear meshes with the first main body gear when the carriage is located between the first position and a relay region. A main rack gear meshes with the second main body gear when the carriage is located in a region extending from the relay region to a third position located below a second end portion of the platen glass. A load torque applied to the motor is larger when the carriage is fixed than when the cover input gear is fixed.
