Optical scanning device and image forming apparatus
An optical scanning device includes a light source, a deflector, a random number generator, a selection part, a random number assignment part and an exposure control part. The light source includes a plurality of light emitting parts arranged in a predetermined direction at fixed intervals in a sub-scanning direction. The random number assignment part is configured to assign a random number sequence to each light emitting part constituting a set of target light emitting parts as an index for specifying a timing at which a light emitting time of the set of target light emitting parts is set to a correction value different from a reference value and to update the assignment of the random number sequence at a random number update period. The random number update period coincides with a scanning period of each light emitting part constituting the set of target light emitting parts.
Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes a light-guide member that moves in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the light-guide member and that emits light, which has entered from an incident surface of the light-guide member, as light that is linearly distributed in the longitudinal direction, a light source that emits the light, and an optical fiber that guides the light emitted by the light source to the incident surface.
SCANNER APPARATUS
In accordance with an embodiment, a scanner apparatus includes an image pickup device and a light shielding member. The light shielding member is positioned to prevent generation of stray light reflected inside an image pickup window and entering the image pickup device and stray light reflected on a surface of a filter and entering the image pickup device, the stray light being generated due to illumination light of an illumination light source of the image pickup device.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE OPTICAL SCANNING OF A CHROMATOGRAPHIC SAMPLE
A method and device for the optical scanning of a chromatographic sample (3), where a sample plate (2) holding the sample (3) is illuminated with light from a first illumination device (13) and the light emitted by the sample plate (2) is detected by an optical detector device (15) which detects in cell form or area form, a second illumination device (14) is preferably firstly activated in a preparation step. The sample plate (2) is displaced in a first displacement direction relative to the detector device (15), illuminated by the first illumination device (13) and a first measurement image is recorded. The sample plate (2) is displaced in a second displacement direction relative to the detector device (15), illuminated by the second illumination device (14), and a second measurement image is recorded.
LENS ARRAY AND LIGHT SOURCE UNIT
A lens array includes a flat plate-shaped base part, a plurality of lenses, a plurality of columnar light guiding parts and a plurality of light shielding parts. The lenses are formed on one surface of the base part. The columnar light guiding parts are formed on another surface of the base part at points corresponding to the lenses. The light shielding parts are formed at least on lateral surfaces of the light guiding parts.
IMAGE SCANNING SYSTEM
An image scanning system for scanning an object is disclosed. The image scanning system includes a light source, an optical lens, an image capturing unit and a light barrier element. The light source irradiates an object to produce an image light, and the optical lens converges the image light. The image capturing unit is disposed at a light leaving side of the optical lens, and the image capturing unit captures the image light to form an image. The light barrier element is disposed at a light entering side of the optical lens or disposed between the optical lens and the image capturing unit, and the light barrier element selectively allows the image light within a predetermined range of an incident angle to pass through.
ILLUMINATION APPARATUS AND SENSOR UNIT
Provided is an illumination apparatus that applies light to an original, the illumination apparatus including: a light source; and a rod-shaped light guide including: an incident surface that receives the light from the light source; a reflection surface provided with a diffusion portion that diffuses the light incident on the incident surface; and an emission surface that emits, to the original, the light diffused by the diffusion portion. An area of the light guide is reduced by an inclination of the light guide from the incident surface side to a middle part in a longitudinal direction of the light guide, and the light guide is provided with the diffusion portion from the incident surface side to the middle part on the reflection surface.
LINE SENSOR, IMAGE READING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
In a line sensor including color filters that are periodically disposed in a light-receiving-element row, a problem called a “mixture of colors” occurs. A “mixture of colors” occurs when light that has been transmitted through a color filter differing from a color filter corresponding to a light receiving element is incident upon the light receiving element.
In a CMOS sensor 107 including a light-receiving-element row in which a plurality of photodiodes 1204 are disposed side by side in a main scanning direction and a plurality of color filters 1202 that are disposed in correspondence with the plurality of photodiodes 1204, the center of each color filter 1202 is displaced in a direction of the center of the light-receiving-element row from the center of the photodiode 1204 corresponding to the color filter.
