Method, control point, and media renderer for displaying picture

An embodiment method includes: acquiring a uniform resource identifier URI of a first picture selected by a user; acquiring a URI of a picture to be buffered in accordance with the URI of the first picture; and sending the URI of the first picture and the URI of the picture to be buffered to a media renderer, so that the media renderer acquires the first picture according to the URI of the first picture, and displays the first picture, and acquires, the picture to be buffered in accordance with the URI of the picture to be buffered, and buffers the picture to be buffered.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM STORING CONTROL PROGRAM, AND CONTROL METHOD

An image forming apparatus records identification information of an external memory and identification information of a scan job as a log when the external memory is attached to start the scan job. When the external memory is removed in the middle of the scan job, scan data is temporarily saved together with the identification information of the job. When the removed external memory is attached, for example, in a ready state, log data is referred to determine whether the external memory is that removed in the middle of the job and whether the scan data associated with the external memory is saved. When it is determined that the scan data is saved, the scan data is saved in the external memory.

Exemplary embodiments relate to techniques for improving the speed and rendering quality of an image (e.g., a JPEG), and are especially useful in an end-to-end encrypted environment. The image may be analyzed on the sending-client side and the image data is broken into multiple categories. In one embodiment, the image data is broken into four chunks, where each chunk could be rendered (in conjunction with previous chunks) to provide increasingly high levels of quality (e.g., a thumbnail chunk, a mid-quality chunk, a high-quality chunk, and a full-quality chunk). The image is uploaded to a blob store, and a message is sent to the receiving client with image information. At the recipient side, the JPEG image data is retrieved from the blob store and each chunk is rendered at progressively increasing levels of quality. Consequently, images are rendered faster, and the quality increases over time.

An image formation apparatus includes a flash memory as an image data buffer, and a control section, where data writing to each memory block of the flash memory is controlled by using wear leveling. The control section predicts whether writing of a certain amount of image data such that the amount of image data to be written into the flash memory in a predetermined period exceeds a predetermined value, will occur, and on predicting that the writing of the certain amount of image data will occur, restricting an input of image data and/or a speed of buffering the image data, to reduce the amount of image data to be written into the flash memory in the predetermined period.

An image file management method is applied to an image storage device. A plurality of image files is stored in the image storage device. The image file management method includes setting a first score of each image file according to a file size of each image file, setting a second score of each image file according to a storage time of each image file, and performing selective deletion of each image file according to the first score and the second score of each image file.
