A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores computer-readable instructions executable by a processor of an information processing device. The instructions support a general-purpose printing program incorporated in an operating system of the information processing device. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to obtain, from a printer, main body information about sheet characteristics for each feed tray of the printer, obtain, after print settings are changed via a print setting screen displayed using the general-purpose printing program, the changed print settings from the general-purpose printing program, generate, based on the main body information, notification data including sheet information indicating the sheet characteristics for a feed tray set in the changed print settings, and provide the notification data to the general-purpose printing program, thereby enabling the notification data to be displayed on the print setting screen.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an image calibration method, an image forming apparatus, and a storage medium. The method includes outputting a calibration image in response to a calibration instruction, where the calibration image includes a calibration pattern and a calibration mark; according to the calibration mark of the calibration image, determining whether a calibration event corresponding to the calibration image matches a calibration event corresponding to a current calibration operation, or determining whether a calibration event type corresponding to the calibration image matches a calibration event type corresponding to a current calibration operation; and performing image calibration according to the calibration pattern in the calibration image if the calibration event corresponding to the calibration image matches the calibration event corresponding to the current calibration operation, or if the calibration event type corresponding to the calibration image matches the calibration event type corresponding to the current calibration operation.

In an embodiment, a user input comprising a number of copies of the plurality of pages to be printed is received from a user. Further, the user input is parsed to determine the plurality of pages to be printed and the number of copies that each of the plurality of pages to be printed. Thereafter, the content of each of the plurality of pages is retrieved from a temporary file or a memory associated with the printer driver unit and printed with the help of a printer device. Accordingly, the present disclosure allows users to print variable copies of plurality of pages on a single print action, and thereby enhances speed of printing and ensures optimal usage of resources.

Four sides of a document included in captured image data are detected. Lengths of the detected four sides of the document are calculated. The generation unit generates correction data for correcting density unevenness for each of a plurality of regions divided in a main scanning direction of an image formed by the forming unit. The storage unit stores the correction data generated by the generation unit. The correction unit corrects a density of an image to be formed by the forming unit for each of the plurality of regions based on the correction data stored by the storage unit. The changing unit changes an image formation density by the forming unit with a uniform amount of change for the plurality of regions after the correction data is generated by the generation unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a processor configured to: receive paper information on a type of paper on which an image is formed; acquire assist information about assistance to supply the paper by supplying gas to the paper and adjustment information about positioning of the paper after assistance to supply the paper is performed, the assist information and the adjustment information corresponding to the received paper information and relating to transport of the paper; and perform control for storing the paper information, the assist information, and the adjustment information in association with one another into a memory.

An image forming apparatus includes: a setting unit configured to set an operation mode; and a processing unit configured to perform image processing on image data according to the operation mode. In a case where a first mode is set, the image processing includes determining, in the image data, one or more target pixels having a gradation value equal to or higher than a first threshold value, and one or more adjacent pixels that are different from the one or more target pixels and adjacent to the one or more target pixels, setting a first gradation value lower than the first threshold value as a gradation value of the one or more target pixels, and setting a second gradation value higher than the first gradation value as a gradation value of the one or more adjacent pixels.
