An image forming apparatus capable of communicating with one or more information processing apparatuses via a network, includes one or more controllers having one or more processors and one or more memories, the one or more controllers being configured to perform log generation of generating a plurality of types of logs including a log related to a job, and to perform log storage of storing the plurality of types of logs, wherein the log storage stores a first type log and a second type log larger than the first type log in volume when the job is a job related to a first condition of using an external network, and stores the first type log and does not store the second type log when the job is a job related to a condition different from the first condition.

The implementations further include classifying a first scene of the first video stream. Additionally, the implementations further include determining a first metadata for the first scene. Additionally, the implementations further include selecting a first profile for the camera based on the first metadata, wherein the first profile comprises one or more configuration parameters, wherein values of each of the one or more configuration parameters of the first profile are based on the first metadata. Additionally, the implementations further include configuring the camera with the first profile.

An image captured by a camera can be processed by a scanning application to identify multiple regions within the image that are suitable for scanning. These regions can be detected and selected for scanning automatically. The captured regions for the single image can be stored as individual image content files.

In one embodiment, the electronic message receives, over a circuit-switched network, an incoming call signal that identifies a fax telephone number as an outbound address, where the fax telephone number is uniquely and permanently associated to a user. The device receives an incoming fax transmission associated with the incoming call signal, where the incoming fax transmission includes a fax message in a fax suitable format, where the fax message is associated with the user. The device transmits, over a computer network, an electronic message that includes the fax message and the fax telephone number to a destination address based on the fax telephone number.

In an image processing system, an interactive message is transmitted and received between an information processing apparatus and a chatbot server, job setting information is generated, image data and the job setting information are stored in a storage on a network in association with job identification information, a QR code generated from the job identification information is displayed on a screen of the information processing apparatus, an image forming apparatus is caused to read the QR code and to convert the QR code to job identification information, and the image data and the job setting information associated with the job identification information are transmitted from the storage to the image forming apparatus via the management server.

An information processing apparatus includes an image reading device, a control device, and an input device. The image reading device reads a source document and generates image data. The control device acts as a controller that generates an editable electronic file from the image data. The input device is to be used by a user to input an instruction. The controller adds, upon receipt of a modification of the source image represented by the electronic file, through the input device, a modification history based on the modification made, to the modified source image.
